This eye patch is soft and I really like the double elastic on one side to allow for a better fit.However it fits very closely to the eye rather than being held away in a cup shape like a stiffer style of eye patch, which may prove to be irritating after hours of wear. You can't open your eye inside the patch because it's held against your eyelid the whole time. And at the bottom near the nose it does allow light in. So I feel this may not be the best patch to wear for hours in treatment of amblyopia as it says in the title and description.I will be sewing just a little bit of soft fabric to that spot to block that strip of light. The rest of the eye patch does block light really well and I will see how comfortable they find it to wear. If my kid is irritated by how closely it fits I will revise my review. I won't be able to return the patch since I will have sewn the extra fabric to it. (By the way I did expect that I would need to do that. So far I haven't found any patch that fits perfectly and blocks all light on first try without any modification.)

Used for Halloween costume but super soft and silky.

Parch doesn’t work well at all. The patch caves into the eye actually laying on the eye lid. Bit comfortable at all. Also it was to big for my eye (women)

Didn’t work our with my 4 year old any at all. The string slides up and down and all over. Don’t even waste your money on this.

This thing is huge and does not sit properly on face.
