Works well. Provides about 20-30 minutes of heat when microwaving for 90 seconds (I have a 1100 watt microwave). Fairly moist too, but I have nothing to compare it against since this is my first moist heating pad. I use the pad for my shoulder. The pad is weighted and stays in place when sitting. If moving/walking around, you can tuck it under a jacked or sweatshirt to keep it in place. The instructions state that the pad can also be frozen for an ice pack, although that's not mentioned in the item description. My only minor complaint is that the cloth material tends to get "pilly", but its not a big deal.

This product was recommended by my chiropractor! I am glad I listened to him! It's GREAT! long lasting moist heat after about 90 seconds in the microwave! Great size! Good for nearly all body parts!

Great pad lasting heat worth the money

It heats up well and helps my back a lot. I really like it.

If your microwave is small, you have to bend it in half, and turn it over midway through the heating time. It's easy to move the beads to bend it. I use it in a small microwave but the pad is stiff enough that I just make a tent so I don't have stop the microwave to flip it over.It's made from a fabric I've never seen before, very rugged feeling but at the same time soft. My husband wants a work shirt made from that kind of fabric.No smell. That was a major concern.

The first one arrived and it was leaking beads. I called the company and the rep couldn’t have been nicer or more supportive. After apologizing she immediately mailed me a new one. The new one is great. It heats up well and maintains the heat. I’m using it for TMJ and it’s definitely helping. Manufacturers issues are going to happen occasionally but as long as they take appropriate responsibility that’s fine with me.

I have been using it for myself and it really helps me a lot. Just 2 minutes in the microwave and It feels very comfortable. My little sister likes to used a lot too so I think I would buy it again, one for her.But honestly, if you are thinking to buy this just do it, because you won't get disappointed. I have been using this heating pad like a year ago.

Heat pad cloth covering melted / burnt with internal contents spilling out, despite following instructions of heat times and using a low powered microwave oven. Only 1 week old, disappointing. The reviews about this issue are true
