This is a really sturdy box to store things in. The wood is very thick, and the whole box is well made. It holds quite a lot. The clasp locks the case well, so it will not open easily being carried or jostled around. The only thing I do not like about it is it did have a strong odor to it inside when I got it, but I am airing it out and think that will be enough.

You can get more durable and higher quality boxes for a lot more money, but at this price point this is a good box and a good value. No negatives or problems. The hinges are tough and work well; same with the lock. The box looks great, outside and in. Excellent size. Recommend.
