For the most part, this toner is what I think of as a very basic toner. It does tone the skin by clarifying it and helps to clean on a deeper level than some cleansers can do. It will also help to shrink pores and keep your skin balanced throughout your day. It does not cause me any sort of irritations, nor does it dry out my skin, though I do find that in its raw form, it seems to be best for those with oily to dry skin.With this toner comes a plastic container that includes round toner pads. You can use these pads to apply your toner or use them for patch work to allow the toner to absorb more thoroughly into the skin. Also, you can remove the pads and use the container to mix up your own homemade formula with this toner, for those so inclined. Then use a pad to patch whatever it is you have created. The toner can be the base for your own homemade solutions.

I am not left with a sticky residue of any kind. As for as toners go, this is a little pricey and I do not see any particular benefit that this one has over any other that I use.

The NOT SEE BACK brand one shot vitamin tree water is just that, a toner made with 100% vitamin tree (aka Hippophae Rhammoides Water). This isn’t intended for hydration or acne necessarily. Instead, the water-like toner is for antioxidants and nourishment.If you are not allergic or sensitive to vitamin tree water, this should be suitable for all users, including sensitive. It is made in Korea and comes suitably packaged in a no frills, generously sized 8.45oz semi-frosted plastic bottle. The contents are a pale straw yellow liquid with a hint of scent natural to the only ingredient inside. Comes with a bonus branded plastic jar full of wafer thin, dry, textured cotton rounds. Once soaked in toner, they swell and are perfect for placing over and leaving on troubled areas for target treatment or general toner application. I considered maybe filling the container with the VT toner water and using it for travel purposes too. Yes, the jar lid would be secure enough to retain the liquid and rounds without seepage assuming the user secures the treads on the lid properly.Overall, I am very pleased with the use, quality, lack of fillers, lack of essential oils, lack of overpowering scent, and the affordability ($22 as of this writing) of this vitamin tree booster water. A great way to try out this antioxidant rich ingredient. It isn’t super drying or hydrating, but I like easily incorporating topical nutrients/vitamins into my AM routine. You can use it whenever you like. For my needs, this fits in well in my day time routine since the toning water has a copious amount of natural vitamin C and that is when I like to use it. I cleanse, use this in place of my usual toner, and follow up with a serum or two, a lightweight moisturizer, and my SPF. This hasn’t caused any product pilling, and it isn’t heavy, sticky, or greasy. I don’t look or feel oily after applying (either with my hands or a cotton round). I’ve not experienced any flares (Rosacea prone), irritation, rashes, redness, or new breakouts (acne-prone).

This is great toner and hydrates beautifully!! Even after I wash my face and think I got it clean I use this Toner and more dirt comes off onto the cotton wipe!!! After the cotton is clear I add another layer and I can feel the hydration!! IT really cleans out my pores and keeps my face smooth and blemish free!! Thank you!!
