Awesome for the price!
I got this to put on a construction job site because employees were abusing breaks and what not. First thing I did was pull it out of the package and charged it. The next day I set it up to the wifi from my job trailer and mounted it on the side of the trailer in an inconspicuous place which from the time I took it odd the charger and ser it up and got it mounted was all in less than 20 min. Very easy to set up and get control with the app on your phone. I have been using it for 3 months now and I have only had to pull it down and charge it 1 time. I was a little hesitant to purchase this because of the battery life but not a problem. App is easy to use and the camera works flawlessly. I have been able to put an end to the extra long and extra breaks and the camera has paid for itself about 100times now. Great picture and the night vision as well as the motion detection work great. So happy and satisfied with this purchase.

.676 kpbs. Read to understand what that means. This is at best a convenience. Not a security device.
The only thing I liked about this was that most of the time it is very sensitive as a motion sensor, but even on humanoid detection mode (a setting hidden in the previously recorded videos), it picks up too many other things. My complaints are many. Here are a few.1. You can say you record 1080p. All that is is 1920 pixels wide by 1080 pixels high. You can have nothing but static and it is still 1080p, as 1080p does not have a minimum average bitrate, or quality standard. The higher the kilobits per second, the better the bitrate. If you see a resolution like 1080p, 2K, or 4K advertised and are unsure of the bitrate on a discount product, assume the picture quality will be awful. I edit videos for online education site and wasn't expecting much here, but this is the camera someone wanted me to get them. The absolute lowest (quality) bitrate I use, and this is meant for users with poor internet, is 1.7 kbps. The reason to make it lower is to save space and make video travel faster. But .676 kpbs means unless you know who you are looking at, you are unlikely to ever recognize the person in the video being recorded. I'm not under any illusions about catching potential thieves with any device like this, but at best you should be able to tell what they are wearing and get a decent idea of their facial features. This was so fuzzy that it is arguable that this isn't possible. I figure the recorded video might be OK in case the same person comes by time after time, so that you might be able to pick out compared to someone else after a break-in, but you'll never positively ID someone. But what do you expect for this price? This and either of the next two items are more than enough for it to get one star.2. "The file is abnormal and cannot be played". I'd say an average of 5% of the files are corrupted or not written in a playable format. That is the error that flashes briefly when trying to replay it. Maybe I just got a bad camera and others don't do this. But how many people go checking all of their playbacks? I also got a SanDisk 256GB Extreme microSDXC card. I have been using their cards for over 18 years as a photographer and never had an issue. Maybe this is the first? I doubt it. If flash memory is going to go it usually just goes; no reading or writing at all. I still have my originals from 2003 and they still work.3. White-out: This also may just be a bad camera and a replacement will fix it, but the first few seconds are almost always blindingly bright. 75% of the time or more. I'm assuming that that this is the camera's ISO needing a few seconds to adjust. In common parlance, that means the amount of light amplification a digital camera is applying to create a realistic looking picture/video. This means that if someone is moving in a hurry, you may only see the back of their head by the time it adjusts to whatever the ambient light requires.4. Memory card - There is nothing like a screw to protect access to the memory card. Anyone can walk up to it and remove the poor-fitting rubber cover that goes over it and remove it. So unless you are going to cage up the camera or put it in a location where it can't be accessed, that's pretty bad. At least have a plastic cover held down by a screw? Oh and putting it up high isn't a good idea, as then you'll just see blurry tops of people's heads.5. The plastic piece that tightens the junction between the mount and the camera body doesn't work well at angles. It's held up to light winds so far, but it would take no effort to make it flop down if someone actually tapped the camera body. So straight ahead it is. And yes, plastic. Again, what do you expect for the price, but outdoors, I expect the plastic to harden pretty fast in maybe a year of just coastal Southern California heat and break. But that's speculation. But the entire mount, including the "nut" that tightens the pieces together, should be metal.6. I haven't tested many phones but the family who I installed this for all have recent Android/Google/Samsung phones. I have an iphone 10 that's maybe 4 years old. I get the cellphone notifications far more reliably than their newer phones. There's more, but I'm not going to dedicate hours to this. You get what you pay for. If you want something that during daylight that has good sensitivity to motion, this thing is almost too good. But if you want a security device, look elsewhere.

Couldn’t ask for better!
This camera is amazing!! I was so torn on picking a camera to monitor my home and backyard while my children are playing, so I did a lot of researching and this camera won in all areas! The night vision is incredible! I also like that you do not have to make any other purchases after buying the camera to have access. You simply just purchase an SD card and the camera, and you’re good to go! The battery life is INCREDIBLE! Also, I love the fact that you can talk through the camera! Also has an “SOS” alarm feature. If you do catch someone on your property, you can activate the alarm! I also love that the SOS feature isn’t easy to press so you don’t accidentally set it off. Once you press it, it pops up a prompt asking if you in fact meant to press it. So once you’re aware of that feature and you want to actually use the SOS feature you are aware that it will pop up, so you can quickly be ready to press both. I haven’t had to use that feature so I’m not sure what it sounds like, but I can imagine with how perfect every other feature is, that the alarm is loud enough to scare off an intruder and alert neighbors to the issue to possibly call police in your defense as well in the event of an actual emergency. The picture quality is amazing during the day and night. You can set the motion sensor to three different settings, which is very helpful! And it is spot on with detecting motion and not just nature. You really couldn’t ask for better quality, all around, and a more user friendly camera at this price!! If you’re in need of a camera, whether it’s monitoring your children playing while you’re inside, or to protect your property, do not hesitate!!! This camera is one of the best purchases I have ever made and I guarantee you will feel the same way!! Don’t hesitate, make the purchase! You will not regret it!!!!!!

Decent camera when you can get it to stay connected
I first hooked this up outside and it stayed connected for about a day. I reset the device and put it back outside and it worked for about 4 hours. I did some trouble shooting and moved the device closer to the router and had only 1 person access the app to view the camera. This seemed to fix the issue. I then put the camera back outside, and still only had 1 person access the app and I have had issues with the camera disconnecting since then. I believe the camera disconnects when 2 or more people try to log in and use the camera at the same time. The battery life has seemed fine thus far, but I have only had this hooked up for about 3 weeks. The motion detection seems a little slow, so I increased the viewing angle to the beginning of my sidewalk so it will still capture someone walking up even though it takes a few seconds to register movement. All in all, I believe this is a solid product.
