We’ve traveled all over Texas. I purchased this book in the hopes of finding a few places to check out that I haven’t seen online. I found a few and can’t wait to check them out.

Lonely Planet is so reliable. This is exactly what I needed. I use it in combination with the internet for the most up-to-date prices, etc.

This book was handy and reasonably informative during a recent trip to the Texas Hill Country. It provides a quick overview of the basics of the area and is generally more up to date than other guides we considered. However, do not expect significant detail re places to eat and bed down. Yee Haw!

Lonely Planet always does a great job.

I used it to find some restaurants near the river walk and things to visit.

Mainly read for info on San Antonio and Austin. We traveled up from San Antonio, San Marcos, then Austin. Enjoyed seeing sights and dining.
