Q: Why would you need a battery in a solar powered light?

There is a battery in most, if not all solar objects - the light charges the battery which is what causes the bulb inside to light in the dark.

Q: How do you replace the batteries when needed? Is there a video showing how?

To replace the battery you remove the screws holding the housing together and open the unit to access the battery. We have a detailed battery replacement video on the AllsopGarden YouTube channel, just search "Allsop Garden Battery".

Q: Do you keep the switch "on" all the time? Or do you have to keep turning it on and off?

Approximately 6-8 hours. And solar battery power is the only option for this light.
