My plants feel like they just got a Sleep Number bed
These planters are fine. I would call them flower pots but then they'd have to lower the price. The only negative I have is that this so-called "self-watering" system is for the birds. I can't figure out what use it is other than a marketing concept. Otherwise, they're great.

Not self watering, get out your drill!
This is not a self watering planter, it is a pot with a raised platform inside and no way to water from the bottom of the pot. And there's no way to check and see if the water has evaporated, and no way to water except for the usual way from the top down. The only option, then, would be to drill holes in the bottom, but I paid more for a "self watering" planter, not just a pretty looking pot where I had to drill the holes into it myself. I would fear damaging the pot itself. Also, it was over $19.50 to return it to the UPS Store!

Affordable - Practical - Convenient
Began searching for a large planter according to price and my personal budget. This planter is amazing for the price I paid finding my 20" under $20. How can I complain while it looks great and no one knows it didn't cost that much money? Purchased the Amagabeli Metal Plant Caddy brand and it moves freely upon my outdoor patio filled with planting soil. Easy to sweep the patio area while freely moving and not having to drag my Ariana Planter. While placing drainage holes I took my electric screw driver hand drill and twisted in a screw. Not a big project and the holes are very small and not huge plug holes. You do not want stagnant water surrounding your plants. Everything is getting ready for the sunny Spring - Fall weather.

Description is wrong! Not polypropylene
Description said it is polypropylene, which is plastic #5, this is actually #7 other, which means it can contain lead, phthalates, etc. Purchased with intention to grow food, had already poked out drainage holes so I couldn't return, not to mention it is huge and would be a pain to lug back for a return. Not cool, description should be updated

Wld not buy again, poor design.
These are beautiful colors & I thought that the ability that they have to retain water would be good for my plants on hot patio in summer. These however hold a soup bowl of water, which ferments into nasty petri dish of foul oder & disease bacteria for your plant roots & depending on thr plant & weather they will be dead quickly!I even drilled holes on the sides for any water rising above the back divider that u put in the bottom & no way! I had to tip them all sideways once already planted & bore out 3 big holes for drainage. I shld of listened to my gut on these but watering everyday patio stuff while mainting hundreds of other perrenials knowing I am doing it right is better than drowning them with this idea. Most roots hate Wet Feet anyways! ! Just get someone to water for you or creat water bottle waterers while away! I do still love the colors.

Nice Planter
These were bigger than I thought they would be, but they will look beautiful once planted. Great price, too. I like the green color that blends with the greenery of plants -- seems like it's hard to find a green planter this year. I looked for a while for the perfect planter, and although these are larger than I expected for the price, they will work nicely.

Not self watering
Not self watering. It is obvious from the construction of the pot because the outer part has a ledge for an inner pot to rest on that there is a piece missing. I am a horticulture science teacher so I work with these pots a lot. And this does not have the inner pot that you can remove to fill the outer pot with water. I did read that several people did experience this- I was hoping to be a lucky one and get mine intact but didn’t happen. Very disappointing

Holds Water
The draining-system in the bottom does NOT work in any of the 6 pots I bought. Maybe I screwed something up before putting the soil in, but these are the first pots that didn't drain at all. I had to drill holes in the sides because my plants were drowning.

Missing part
Missing the main component, the water liner at the bottom. Whole reason I bought this one . Very frustrating.
