great value
It's 25 bucks. Solid as a rock, holds an edge, works as described. The bottom is hard to use. Maybe a little hole under it will help or thumb nail.

A few considerations
UPDATE:The spring in this broke pretty quickly. If you are relatively handy and can find spring steel in the right dimensions, this isn't a difficult fix. Not surprising or disappointing for a $25 knife. If you're looking for a reliable knife, this is not it.---First: THIS IS A SWITCHBLADE.There is no loophole. It is a knife operated by a mechanism separate from the blade. If your state says switchblades are illegal, THIS IS WHAT THEY'RE TALKING ABOUT.A spring assisted knife requires that you push on the blade to keep it from being considered a switchblade. There are companies that make spring assisted knives that act like autos (Schrade, probably others).LOOK AT YOUR STATE'S LAWS.THIS IS CERTAINLY NOT LEGAL WHERE AUTOMATIC OR SWITCHBLADE KNIVES ARE ILLEGAL.Second: THIS IS A TWENTY FIVE DOLLAR KNIFE (at the time I'm writing this). If you have never bought a $25 knife, please let me be the first to tell you: it's crap. It's not going to work the way you want, it's going to give you problems, it's going to fail if you are in a position where your absolutely must have a knife that works. Spend $125 and skip the worry about performance.Third, and best: this is a $25 lever auto (cheap enough to modify and not care if you mess up!) that you can have delivered in 3 days. Other budget autos will be from China (a month+ away) or overpriced. This is fine quality for the price, and if you want an auto for the fun of it (not reliability, quality), this is your Amazon listing. The steel is probably cheese grade. The action kinda sucks.Fit and finish? Real bad.Sharpen it, and consider that knives of this form factor are not meant for cutting paper in one swipe anyway.Get out some tools, take the knife apart, and refinish it to have it perform well.I sanded edges, cleaned up the hole in the blade that the switch interacts with, and cut a groove to get my thumb under the lever (pictured). I just cut across with a file because I'm lazy and I already put away the Dremel. It works fine.Locktite and lube like any new knife.I am very happy with this, with the knowledge going into the purchase that this is a cheap switchblade, bought mostly for my entertainment and opening boxes.IF YOUR STATE RESTRICTS SWITCHBLADES, THIS IS A KNIFE THAT IS IN THE SWITCHBLADE CATEGORY.I would hate for someone to get the wrong impression, especially considering there are legal implications.

Amazing engineering but very awkward to open
The media could not be loaded. Amazing knife for the money, however the locking latch is very awkward to open with one hand, and this simple feature which can literally be fixed with a 1 cm adjustment can make this knife one of the best cheap knives. This feature can also be dangerous when in a situation where you quickly need to defend yourself and are unable to open the knife quickly

This is a solid knife for the money. Great cost to value ratio.
Very nice knife. It’s large, too large to be an EDC. However, it’s solidly built, and opens perfectly. No issues.I’m giving five stars because it really is a great knife for the money.

Decent for the money, but design needs improvement
For a $26 automatic knife, this knife is a good value. That said, I have one big complaint... The release lever sits so flush with the handle you either need long fingernails or a coin to pry it up to open the knife. That is pretty contrary to the whole premise of a quick opening automatic knife. I'll try dremeling a groove under the release lever so it is easier to access but not catch in my pocket and accidentally open. Pity the designer of this knife couldn't come up with a more usable design.

Buy it before it’s gone forever!!!!
12/10 on this edc knife. Acts like the old school paratrooper knives, has a thick blade, has a decent weight to it and after a bit of oil… works as well as knives I’ve spent over $100 on 💯🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
