The media could not be loaded. We had a blast learning how to skimboard with this board. The foam pad is really grippy, which helped stay on the board. The bottom is super smooth, allowing the board to glide well, even without additional product. In stronger wind, the board did catch a bit since it has a lot of surface area, so it’s important if you’re smaller or not as strong that you keep the board parallel to the ground to avoid the board going wonky. We had a tremendous day testing out the BPS skimboard, even when we had to move to a “nontraditional playground” after realizing we were not going to skim a beach with an oyster bed.

This is a great addition to your beach supplies. Whether you are a beginner, or have your own quiverful of boards this is a excellent choice. The only reason this didn’t get five stars is that the foam tends to deteriorate from heavy use. While this does not affect the ride, it doesn’t look very good. The most importent point is that if you keep it underwater too long it will get waterlogged and will not skim anymore. All-Around, a good tool that will serve you well for a while.

Bought this for my grandson for his 8th Birthday! To say he was excited would be an understatement!!! He loves it! Great value at a great price!

It’s perfect. Nice and tacky top layer so you can easily grip for turns, tricks. The rocker on the nose gives it that extra extra float. Spinning pop shuv-it’s on this skim is so effortless. Killer price, awesome brand in general, separates ya from the rooks on the beach just by the look.Good work BPS 🤙🏽🤙🏽

Oh boy! My 11 yrs old grandnephew jumped for joy when he saw this birthday gift. He has been skimming for years now.The pattern is super fun as well!

I couldn't decide whether to buy my son this skimboard or one which requires waxing. Ultimately my laziness won out. We could not be happier with the skimboard. It does exactly as advertised and no waxing required.
