KAO Liese Soft Bubble Hair Color (Cassis Berry)

I used it on unrelaxed African American hair and it got her hair pinky orange auburn. It has been better than henna or iroiro for achieving red hair. A bonus is it doesn't leave a weird smell

I liked the foaming, it make things less messy and the instructions were very clear so be sure to read them if you've never used this product before.I don't know what exactly many people were expecting when I looked up online reviews of this product before purchase. If you want your hair a brighter color and you have dark hair, you need to have it lightened. This isn't going to be some magical product that makes your hair the color of the girl's on the front of the box.I am happy with the color it provided me. I had my hair dyed professionally before and I guess I was a bit too lazy to go to the salon so I figured I'd try this. My hair remained the brownish color...maybe slightly more red. In the sunlight the berry color definitely comes through. My biggest thing was to dye my roots and it helped blend the color with the previously dyed parts.All in all, pretty decent product for the price. Just don't expect miracles.

I have tried other colors from this range before, and they are so easy to apply! I didn't get this 100% even though, probably because I struggled a little bit with get it to foam, but just work with it and put LOADS on, and massage it thoroughly.It turned out to be a lovely auburn red color on my medium/dark blonde hair, and I LOVE the color! The only downside to this product is the somewhat strong ammonia smell of it. But I've smelled worse products, so overall I am extremely satisfied!

Let me start off by saying that this product came nicely packaged and the seller even threw in a sample of BB Cream, which was a plus. I've never used Liese before, but I've used their sister brand Prettia, many times in the past and was always satisfied with the results. I bought this product thinking that I'd get a dark aurburn color, or at least some shade of red but my hair turned milk tea brown with many patches of discoloration. I'm not new to using japanese bubble hair dye, nor did I leave the product longer than the specified time, so needless to say I was pretty shocked. My hair looks horrible, and I'll probably re-dye it soon because I can't stand how it looks. Great seller, bad product.

I have dark hair, and this gives me consistent auburn color that is true to the photo on package. Return customer for years and glad I find it on amazon now!

This hair dye was so easy and mess-free, that I'm definitely purchasing in the future, when my roots come back!Although the model's hair on the box seems super red, if you're using this dye on black, virgin hair, it'll come out to be a very natural looking brown, that shows red tints in the sun! its really pretty and ive gotten several compliments on it!My hair is very long, thick, and is half-way down my back, but i only used one box of dye. I think I needed two, but it covered my hair well. the dye surprisingly didn't foam up like in the liese hair dye tutorial, because i think i had too much hair for the product to cover, but it was enough to cover the outsides of my hair!this was my first dying experience, and it was so easy that i didn't need another person to help me! when applying the foam, make sure to use light motions because if you did what i did, i put the foam on my hair vigorously and accidentally flung some foam on my carpet >.<, which is now leaves a pink dot in a sea of tan brown.Just make sure to be very careful and delicate when applying.My hair was normal (only blowdried, no straightening) but i noticed that my hair is more dry from this, so make sure to use hair masks and conditioner your best friend! (:other than that, have fun! =)

This was my first time dying my hair by myself and it turned out to be great! It is definitely a great hair dye for beginners the instructions were easy to follow and my hair was evenly colored. My only complaint is that my hair color is not reddish as I'd like it to be but it definitely does stand out. Overall, I feel very satisfied with this product and I definitely will buy liese hair dye again.

I was hoping that it would be a little more red... the color turned out more auburn and true to the picture instead of a red color. But its all great! I loved the color either way and I would buy form KAO again! Also, this company was great, the product arrived on time and the box was in good condition (does that matter? dunno... haha) Good luck! :)

This is the second time I’ve bought this product, but this time the packaging was different from the pic. I wasn’t sure if it was still cassis berry and if the color still comes out the same so I emailed asking about it, but they just gave me a refund even though I didn’t ask for one. Although that’s very nice of them, if only the packaging was different but the color was the same, I would’ve been okay with that, but they didn’t answer that question so I’m left wondering. Especially because on the side of the box which shows what color comes out depending on how dark your hair is, it clearly shows brown instead of the bright red cassis berry used to be.
