Lego Ideas Sailboat Adventure Set #40487 330 Pieces

Grandson had just finished sail boat camp and I saw this set. He put it together easily and it looks a lot like the boats he learned to sail.

Purchased as a gift.

This set is an easy project to finish quickly! We did it in under an hour with two 5 year olds guided by an adult. The box was brand new and in great condition.

Fun build, but doesn't accurately represent the sails - the front sail (jib) to be precise. But as a stationary object vs interactive, perfectly fine.

This was a freebie give away on Lego website so expect price to vary by seller on this site. I liked the look of this one I went for it but probably overpaid slightly based on piece count. Like the finished product though. Glad the sails are not simply a piece of cloth pegged between a couple of studs, they actually require building. Boat looks nice but there are not exposed studs on deck for minifigs to stand on. Put woman at the rudder but when her hands are clipped to the tiller she floats above the deck. Oh well, if you can't afford one of LEGO's massive pirate ships this is still a pretty nice boat.

Was so excited to see a reasonably priced sailboat to return to stock. Jumped at this one. Smaller than anticipated and a little difficult to finagle the pieces, but was pleased with the outcome.

Just what I was looking for to go with my lighthouse!
