Awesome Night Vision Binoculars
The media could not be loaded. These night vision binoculars are great! They capture amazing photos and videos in complete darkness. The video attached to this review was taken on an extremely dark night that appeared pitch black to the naked eye.I am very impressed with the amount of features and settings on these binoculars and how easy they are to use. There are 7 different infrared levels, powerful zoom capabilities and all kinds of settings to make sure the photos and videos you are capturing turn out great. Not only can you capture photos and videos from the binoculars, but you can also view what you have captured. These binoculars come with a 32gb memory card, a usb cable, a strap to hold the binoculars around your neck, a cleaning cloth and a nice carrying case to keep your binoculars safe and secure.I would highly recommend these to anyone looking to capture the beauty of the night. I can't wait to get these up north to the cottage and see what kind of nightlife I can capture.

Awesome quality, easy to use
The media could not be loaded. The zoom is really good. The LCD display is pretty high quality and the picture looks even better when you download the SD card to your phone or computer. Got a pretty good deal on a great set of nightvision binos. Takes 8 AA batteries.

Decent
Bought this so I can watch the woods behind my house, sometimes we hear howls or branches breaking. These work well for that but still haven't saw anything but trees.

Great
These work great! Bought them for my husband and we both think they work great. I have glasses and he doesn’t and these work great for both of us. Just read the directions and start using.

Excellent night vision with good photo and video quality, but modest magnification capabilities.
Although we've had pretty good consumer night vision technology since at least the 1990s, there's still something undeniably cool about a supernatural ability to see in the dark. The HUDAKWA Digital Night Vision Binoculars (NVG-5) offer a premium, hi-tech way to do exactly that, as well as function as regular field glasses with photo and video capability. In the box, you get the binoculars with built-in threaded tripod mount connector, microUSB transfer cable if you don't want to take out the microSD card to access the stored files (or for some reason use it as a computer camera), 32GB microSD card (the max it says its supports), straps, cleaning cloth, case, and a manual. It's a fairly complete package, although it does require 8 AA batteries, which are not included. While I would have preferred rechargeables, it's not a deal-breaker for me.While the company and I refer to these as binoculars, that's really only true in the sense that it has two lenses. Otherwise, you look through a single viewfinder and at an LCD screen when scoping out a subject. It's actually quite comfortable doing this, but also reveals some of the limitations. While you can focus with an adjustment knob and it does indeed optically magnify objects, you're maxing out at maybe 6X optically, which is the equivalent of lower-end binoculars. Otherwise, the rest of the magnification listed is digital, and as we all know, digital zooms have limited utility as they only enlarge the pixels already present (even if you yell, "enhance!").Photo resolution maxes out at 3MP, or 2048/1536, while video resolution maxes out at 1080p, or 1920x1080p at 30 FPS. The binoculars default to 1MP (1280x960) for photos and 960P (1280x960p at 30FPS), which is sufficient for most uses. The screen is a 2.5" 640x480 resolution TFT LCD, which itself is optically magnified 6X and remains bright and clear.Of course, while these are not great versus even low-end optical binoculars, its primary function is still its seven levels of infrared-based night vision, with each higher level compensating for darker conditions. While you lose all color with this technology, you do get to see your subjects clearly. The top-mounted push-button controls are intuitive and easy to access. For the price, I'd like better optical magnification, but I'm sure there are practical limits to what can be done given the other capabilities. If your magnification needs are modest and you want to use these primarily for night vision uses, then the HUDAKWA is rugged, comfortable, and capable.

Ok, these are pretty darn cool!
What I like:IR Night visionTakes picturesRecords videoComes with a 32GB SD cardNon-slip rugged designLots of customization for picture and videoComes with a carrying case and a strapEasy and intuitive to useWhat I don't like:Takes 8 AA batteries. They don't tell you this explicitly and so you may end up disappointed getting these only to find out you cannot use them right away if you don't have 8 spare AA batteries on you.I was very excited to get these as I loved the fact that they had such a wonderful display for the viewer. I cannot use a lot of binoculars due to the way that the lens is set up. With these tactical binoculars, I can use them with my eyeglasses with no issue. The picture is lovely and I like the focus that you can use to adjust the picture. There are settings for the backlight, picture quality and resolution, date and timestamps, and the night vision. You get a 32GB SD card with these binoculars so you can store a large amount of photos and data. There is even a USB cable they give you to connect it to a computer and get the data from the SD card without having to remove it from the binoculars. It is rugged and weather resistant. The description says it is weatherproof but I have not gotten a chance to test that yet. The one thing that I was initially disappointed with was that I got these and did not know they took 8 AA batteries. So the binoculars came in and I was ready to use them, but realized I would have to get batteries before I could get started. So be aware of that if you are intending to use these right away. I wished they did not use 8 AA batteries and used fewer large cell batteries.Once I got going with these, however, I find that I enjoy them very much. I would recommend these if you want a great set of binoculars with advanced features for bird watching, hunting, security, or just plain fun!
