Basic and gets the job done for the most part
Inexpensive and does EXACTLY what I would expect of a small indoor antenna priced below 8 dollars. this does not get all the channels but gets most of them. For the price I can't complain. Yes, there is a difference when you plug in the provided USB amplifier...

only works for a short time
It worked just fine for a very short time then failed spectacularly Over and over these indoor antennas seem to do this and I think this has got to stop-So merchants stop selling this junk! Manufacturers stop making this junk and make something that lasts! I have paid more for the antenna than the TV it was bought for! Something wrong there fix it!

An antenna that works!
I live in Queens and ordered this product. I have a samsung TV, plugged using coil and hdmi cord to get it working, ran Samsung settings to find the air/satellite channels and beautiful picture to local channels. Clear and close to a window where signal is good. Very happy with the product. Stand works so no need to screw into the wall (if needed- screws are included)

It works, but not 5 stars
Three years ago I cut the cable cord. Since then I’ve purchased a dozen different inside antennas. I rated this at three stars because of lacking truth in advertising. But most do this.First- I like the small size, and the 10ft long antenna cable. These were two prime reasons I purchased it and it helps me position it easier and hid it if not in use. Very easy to install.Second- it works about the same as most of the other brands and types I’ve tried. I live about 28 miles from the antenna towers, so you might pick up a channel or two at 50 miles but I doubt it.Third- it definitely required the booster to get ANY channels. So why suggest it can be used without it?I can get CBS, ABC, Fox, and about 30 other assorted weather, religious, shopping and old movie/TV programs, so for the money, I will keep it.

Excellent
It added 55 live local (Cincinnati) tv channels to my TCL smart tv (no cable, just wifi). Getting it near a window added 10 more. It is a power antenna that uses the tv usb for power. Very happy with performance and price.

Poor reception
When you program the antenna it shows I get a lot of channels but then when you start flipping through 80% of them say no signal and then the ones that two of us signal keep going in and out

Poor performance This antenna is not worth considering
I bought this antenna to replace a home made antenna i have..I used it's amplifier and it failed to do it's job ..It has it's own wires & amp so it was not a wire length or amp issue,it just failed.My home made antenna(wood&wires) brought in 24 channelswith a range of 80 miles. Behind a thick glass windowThis antenna put in the same location receives 11 channelsfrom 26 miles & that's it

Useless piece of junk
Absolutely useless, after tuning our tv the aerial found no channels at all tried tuning tv a couple of times and nothing, stay clear of this piece of junk

Worked for my location
I get between 36-42 channels so works for me as I needed something for a bedroom tv.
