Worth the money
I shattered my ankle in a motorcycle accident this year and needed this as walking was tough let alone standing to shower and although tough to set up alone and move via wheelchair because I stupidly built in my living room rather than bathroom but overall was a godsend during my recovery. My bathtub was way taller than the floor so the adjustable legs came in clutch. Very sturdy and much better than the in tub chairs. My curtain was able to go around it, and I tucked the plastic curta into the space between the part of the bench sticking out of the tub and the part I would sit on while showering to stop water from getting outside the tub. Very easy to work with overall

Works great
Wife loves the convenience. She's able to transfer from her wheelchair to the shower bench and back with little trouble. Her only complaint is that the none skid on the plastic seat is a bit rough on the tootie + bootie. Otherwise seat works great.

A Lifesaver for My Mobility-Challenged Mother: A Review of the Bathtub Transfer Bench/Bath Chair
As a caregiver for my mobility-challenged mother, I've tried my fair share of assistive devices, and let me tell you, not all are created equal. But the Bathtub Transfer Bench/Bath Chair has been a game-changer, providing my mother with the support and stability she needs to safely enjoy her daily bathing routine.Assembly was a breeze, even with my fumbling hands. The clear instructions and simple design made the process quick and painless. And once it was assembled, the bench stood sturdy and unwavering, no matter how much my mother leaned on it for support. The wider-than-expected seat provides ample room for my mother to comfortably sit, and the non-slip surface ensures she stays put even when wet. The backrest is a welcome addition, offering extra support for her back and shoulders.Cleaning the bench is a breeze. Simply wipe it down with a damp cloth and let it air dry. However, I've found that letting it dry completely in the sunlight or hand drying it helps prevent any mildew growth. One thing to note is that the bench is wider than it appears in pictures, so be sure to measure the space you intend to use it in before buying. You don't want it to end up feeling cramped or obstructing the shower door.Overall, the Bathtub Transfer Bench/Bath Chair has been an invaluable addition to our household. It has given my mother the confidence and independence she needs to bathe safely and without fear of falling. As a caregiver, it's given me peace of mind knowing that she's supported and secure. If you're looking for a sturdy, easy-to-clean, and supportive bathtub transfer bench for your loved one, I highly recommend this one. It's a lifesaver, and it will make bath time a much more enjoyable experience for everyone involved.

Life saver
My Situation: Broke my hip socket and was told not to put any weight on my right foot. When I left the hospital, they gave me an old man walker and a commode, which they told me could double up as a shower bench. Bad idea listening to the people ran by the insurance company. The commode is not made to withstand rust, fit well inside a bathtub, nor make it easy for someone to get in and out of a bathtub.Solution: Get a real shower bench and this one was priced right. I've been using it for the past 3 weeks and now I look forward to taking a shower because of its convenience. I'm 215 lbs.Wide Seat: Yes, the seat is wide and supports my big behind. It's plastic, so don't expect a soft cushy seat and it's cold because plastic is not a good insulator. I like the fact that it's long, so I can sit easily, then slide myself all the way into the bath tub and close the shower curtain. This prevent water from splashing outside the tub, which I consistently saw when using the commode as a shower seat.Adjustable Seat Height: Adjustments can easily be made by pressing the button tabs on each leg and they feel sturdy. This is important because at the right height, it makes standing up with one leg a lot easier.Sure Gripped Legs: Two legs in the rear have strong suction cups. This makes it difficult to move once the one in the bathtub takes hold. The two in the front have rubber grip to prevent sliding.Lightweight: Yes, relative to the effect of the suctions.Durable: The aluminum portion feels durable, but the plastic squeaks with the pressure of my body weight. I need to use my hands to lift my body up and slide it across the bench, which means I am applying palm pressure on the bench. My suggestion is when you are doing this, be sure to place your palm where there is an aluminum support beneath it. This will provide a stronger support for the plastic seat against your body weight. I am sure if I'd put my palm right in the center, it will probably crack the plastic. I've actually left an imprint of my behind on the plastic bench after a week of use, which tells me the plastic may have certain limit that I am particularly not interested in discovering.Rust-Resistant Shower Bench: Believe it's all aluminum. I have not seen any rust.Overall: At my weight, I would recommend this bench for temporary use (less than 12 months). It doesn't feel like it will last forever and at this price, it's cheap enough to replace. If you are lighter, then the stress on the plastic will be minimal and may last longer. It's definitely been a life saver for me now because I've regain some of my independence.
