I actually bought this at a game Souko in Japan a while back.If the price seems like it is excessive, it really is not. When I bought this, it cost about 10000 yen. So the price for importing this thing alone more than explains the price. However let me tell you this: It is SO worth it.The Macross frontier stands about 14 inches tall when in transformed mode. It is 100% articulate and comes with about 7 additional miniatures that you can set up freely.When in quarter spacecraft mode, the Quarter sits firmly on its base and looks quite impressive.Folks, this is not a kids toy. It uses a combination of metal and composite for the body itself with various attachments such as the cannon and the Flight deck being plastic. the cannon sits a little loosely on the right arm but when it does lock in, you flip up small base sections on the arm to ensure a wider base for the canon and flight deck.each of the turrents can be moved to whatever configuration you like and adds to the dynamic quality of this product.If there are any flaws (This rests on the individual buyer) the only problem is that the arms do not like supporting the full weight of the flight deck and the cannon and tends to drop down when you try to have them standing freely. For this, I advise you use the props that are provided to allow full support.When it comes to displaying this monster, the full setup is quite visually arresting and the detail and craftsmanship that went into this is stellar to say the least.If you are looking for a super high quality product from the macross frontier series look no further. With this in your collection (And I advise taking it out of its box and displaying it proudly) it will add a certain flair that not even the Alto custom or even the original VF-1s can fully hold a candle to.Buy this now and I promise you will NOT be disappointed.

Im going to have to agree with Dan this is not for kids.. that being said I got mine from a different site for a little more but faster shipping. The box the product was shipped in arrived on time and with no dammage. There was also no dammage to the product box. The joints where a little stiff when trying to transform it into the other modes. I had to use a little WD40 than it worked perfectly. Other than that Macross Quarter figure is amazing! Totaly worth the money.

腰のジョイントと肩の関節があまりに硬く、説明書通りに変形させても、自然には絶対に動かないという硬さでした。正直、これは壊れてしまうのではないか、というくらいの力をゆっくりとくわえて初めて動きました。特に肩の関節は、説明書では腕をおろすと肩が正面を向くという描写ですが、実際にはいちど肩はガイドレールに下に戻してから操作したほうがよいです。腰のジョイントも、ゆっくりと力を込めていけば動きます。右手のガンナー艦は、三方向に展開することができます。こちらは、ちいさいながらもしっかりとしたジョイントのせいで、最初は戸惑うかもしれませんが、上部は左右にきちんとひらけますし、下部は下方向にスライドするようにできています。持ち手のあたりにジョイントのような爪が見えるので、そのあたりを注意してあつかうと、展開しやすいと思います。いくつかの折れそうな部品に気を付けながら操作しなければならないので、変形には神経を使いますが、この大きさはなかなかの迫力です。色合いはやや薄く、メリハリのない感じがしますが、写真などを撮るのでなければ、ライティングや背景に気を遣えば、十分鑑賞に堪える仕上がりです。付属されるミニチュアのバルキリーなどは、対比を楽しめるボーナスとして。パーツの一部は柔軟な素材でできていて、意外と壊れないように配慮されています。あと一歩感がありますが、フロンティアファンなら押さえておきたい一品です。

訳アリの品で箱はボロボロでしたけど中身は新品なので良かったです。

ＤＸ超合金マクロス・クォーターです。超合金とは言ってますが、合金比率はＶＦ−２５と同じく少なめです。ＡＢＳ：胸部・腕部・脚部・バスターＬ・Ｒ・バスターキャノン・空母ダイキャスト：肩間接・胴体（うすいグレー部）胴体関節・股間部・股関節・足首ダイキャストは強度を維持する為に最低限使われてる感じで胴体の一部と足首にとりあえず超合金と銘打つ為使われてる感じです。強襲型高さ２８ｃｍ（つま先〜頭部）要塞艦５０ｃｍの大きさで手足を維持する為なので仕方ないですがせめて太ももくらいは合金にして欲しかったです。気になっていた関節保持力はまあまあと言ったところでしょうか、ラチェット関節も設けられており要塞艦の保持の為の配慮はされているようです。　ラチェット関節：股関節（左右に開脚する部分・前後はパッキンか何かによる保持と思われる）　　　　　　　　肩：左右に開く際の関節（前後回転は股間前後と同じ無段階関節）　　　　　　　　膝：上下の二重関節残念ながらバスターキャノンと空母艦を保持するのに重要な肘関節にラチェットが用いられてません。しかしながらプラプラする様な事は無く、適度な保持力を持ち、台座なしでも保持は出来ます。しかしヘタリが気になるのでここはラチェット関節にして欲しかった。残念なのは上記の肘と肩関節が異常に硬い事です。変形の際前上・後ろ下にスライド機構がありますがこれが肩の硬さの為、干渉してしまい肩を回す度にスライドしてしまいます。肩のカバーなど繊細な部分にかなり力を込めないと回らない為、破損が怖いほどです。股関節が硬いと言われてますが、私は硬めの関節が好きなのでそれ程気になりません。肩ほど硬くはなく、ヘタリ対策としてこの位のテンションがあった方が良いと思います。色々言われてますが、全体的な完成度は高いと思います。バルキリーよりマクロス艦派の私としてはこのサイズで出てくれただけでも嬉しいし、アクション性も高く、プレイバリューも高いです。欲を言えばもう少し頑張って１／７００で出して欲しかったですね。米軍空母キットなどと並べられると凄い迫力になりそうです。

自分は15000円ぐらいで購入。なんの問題もなく手頃な値段でした。とんでもない値段のところはなんなの？

期待しとおりによくできています。可動も造形も気に入ってます。
