So let's start out with this...I am an Italian Jewish girl with thick hair. My eyebrows are basically wires and my braid could tow your car. The only person I know with thicker hair...is my sister. It's not easy to find a hair tie for super thick hair. I ordered these, a pony-o, and a pro hair tie to see what worked best. My hair barely fit through the pony-o....the pro hair tie I couldn't even loop it around a second time...but these teleties....😱😱😱I bought the large...I can loop it around twice. It works for a ponytail or bun. I can loop it around a third time for a SUPER tight ponytail it *can* stretch that much if it needs to. They do stretch out a bit...but warm to hot water gets them to shrink back a little. I am sure if you don't stretch them to their limits they don't stretch out as much. They don't tagle in your hair. I can take it out in the middle of the night and throw it on my wrist without cutting off my circulation. They are also in so many super cute colors! Anyway....I ended up buying a bunch more on their website and will continue to do so! I even sent some to my sister! Finally! Someone figured out a good system for massive ponytails!(The photo is to show them after I stretched the life out of the zebra ones, put them in warm water, got some new colors in the mail, and compared sizes. For me I don't think it's terrible amount of stretched out. They still work perfectly...but in case anyone was wondering about the stretch.

They don’t pull my hair out, they stay in all day & don’t give me tension headaches when I use them. I have to have my hair pulled back all day at work and not getting daily headaches or need to adjust my hair is a huge plus in my book. I first got the small ones but then took the “which one is right for you” quiz on the website and learned the large size were better for my hair… the website was right.

I always hated the kinks in my hair after wearing my hair up in a traditional hair tie - they made me commit to a ponytail style til my next wash. But! This teletie changed that for me and I love it! It very quickly goes back to shape (will looked stretched out if you tightly put up your hair) but within minutes of submerging in warm water it goes back to normal (it’s way quicker than I thought it would be). I’ve been wearing mine for 1+month now and no slack at all, like a tradition hair tie may get over time. I also like how you can wash these (hand wash) so I feel less dirty. I work in a hospital and never wore hair ties around my wrist bc I could just imagine how many germs it would gather. But with this, I can wear it and wash it and feel totally ok with it!Highly recommend.

I am hoping to grow my hair out longer. I bought these to help prevent breakage. They mostly do as expected. There is still some hair that comes out but it stays put much better so I'm not having to redo my hair as frequently. Overall so far there's less hair loss. There's a learning curve to putting them in and taking them out. Once you get the trick it is great. Ay first I was frustrated because I couldn't get the perfect pony, it does take practice. When splitting the pony to adjust closer to the scalp the hair does not wrap around and break at all.I ordered some more after getting the first set, and my package never came. I used the portal and they resent my order with no fuss. Great customer service.Overall I believe it is gentler on hair. I've been using them for a month and so far really enjoy them.My hair is thin so all three sizes work depending. If you have larger hands stay away from the smallest size because they are really hard to work with. I just wrap the larger ones more times.My brother liked them too and would more neutral colors to pick from.

I love these things, not only are they super durable but they are also extremely cute. I’m a nurse and last night one of my coworkers asked me why I was wearing such a pretty bracelet to work. They are also much more sanitary than cloth scrunches as you can just wash them with soap and water or clean them with an alcohol wipe and it will be dry enough to put back in your hair.

I've always had thick, somewhat wavy hair, but it has gotten thicker and curlier in the past couple of years, ever since growing back after I went through chemo. My old hair ties are now too small, so when a friend recommended trying the telephone cord style, I was intrigued. I tried a few other brands before finding Teleties, but I didn't like those other brands as much. I'm absolutely in love with Teleties! Not only are they super cute, they are big enough to accommodate all of my newly thicker, curlier hair without pulling or causing headaches. I also love that the Teleties shrink back into shape easily and without twisting like some of the other brands. I highly recommend these hair ties and will definitely be buying more!

I’ve only had these for about a day, so I can’t speak to the quality of it yet. I’m posting a picture to help those wondering about sizes. The orange is the small and the printed one is a large. As others have said, the small should only be used for a pony tail. I used it for a messy bun and it left creases in my hair.

Great gift, comes in cute packaging and with a sticker. They stretch well, but need to put in hot water to get back to normal shape, I usually just shower with it on my wrist and that'll do the trick. Doesn't hurt my wrist compared to other hairbands, and can get wet/dry quickly. Doesn't give me a headache or get stuck in my hair. Have had them for a few months and am still happy with purchase!
