Not used yet, but I think it will be useful.

I quite like this set although not sure why there are 2 sets of each tool, that is other than the glove which is useful for cutting, gutting and filleting fish especially if doing a lot. Protects the hand from accidents as you can hold the fish in your hand firmly which I’ve found you can’t do with rubber gloves.I gave 1 of each of the tools to my mother in law who is very happy with it as she buys her fish from the fish market scales and all! She said that it was a much faster and tidier affair than using her usual 🔪Using both tools in conjunction with each other ensures that all scales are removed quickly and effectively with no scales left behind. Although one could use a knife to get the job done I have found from personal experience that the scales go flying all over the place if using a knife.The de scalers also comes with holes in the handle if you want to store them conveniently on a hook.Good value if you have somebody to share it with, but not if just for one person as the tools are stainless steel and just one set will suffice and as such could be substantially cheaper if the set contained just one of each item. Furthermore if doubling up why no second mesh glove.I hope you found this review helpful

I've always used a knife to descale fish, which took a bit of time, so I got an electric one, but the electric one always needed to be plugged in, so it was just not very manoeuvrable and just felt restrictive. Decided to try these manual ones, and they're great. Lightweight and easy to use. Two different styles, which I assume are for different fish types, but I'm not sure.The thing is, why are there two of each? It's unnecessary and feels like they're trying to sell this at a higher price because there are more (unnecessary) items, which bugs me.This also applies to the glove supplied. The glove is to help avoid cuts to the hand, but neither of these tools should pose that threat if used properly, so again, just feels like it's being added in to increase the price.These do the job, but the extras feel unnecessary as one of each type of descaling tool is enough, so it'd be better if they reduced the price and supplied less.

To be honest, I've not known about these fish scale tools before but upon using these, removing fish scales has never been easier. In fact, removing fish scales has never been enjoyable, it's a real chore that gets messy and lengthy.This pack oddly doubles up and includes two of each scale remover- four tools in total and one durable glove. If only one pair of scale removers were included I would assume this would be priced fairer. Beyond this, one side has a separated curve edge while the other has a grill claw surface. The latter is the one I have since use and found great success. The fish scales cling to the claws and tear off leaving a smooth fishy surface. You still have to rinse the tool from time to time while using but in little time I have my fish descaled and ready to cook.

The set comes with 2 different tools and a glove. Not sure why you get 2 of each to be fair, to sell more probably. I only tried one of the descalers(the rectangular one) and worked perfectly fine. It was easier than using a knife. The scales flaked off instantly without tearing the skin of fish which is very important. The glove is a great added bonus to protect your hand from getting injured.Overall I am pleased with this set but I think it is overpriced as you don't need 2 of each tool.

Found this to be very easy to use the set consists of 4 stainless steel descaled sand an anti cut glove which is sturdy and helps you grip the wet fish and protecting the hand. Only thing that lets it down is there are no instructions included in the box

The media could not be loaded.  My husband do fishing sometime so before I always use knife to take off scaler remove. But I seen this tool I order it so it’s make my life easy and relax. It’s take 10-15 minutes to take off scalers from fish. But before I use to spend 45-1 hours on it. So would definitely recommend
