I bought the Lankro 26" solid mahogany tenor ukulele after reading the reviews and I am very happy with this instrument. I also bought a set of Aquila 107U Super Nylgut low-G strings to put on it as I prefer low-G tuning and the original supplied strings aren't very good. Changing the strings was a bit fiddly but after watching the 'Lankro ukulele Change the strings' video I got the job done. This ukulele sounds amazing and will sound even better as it ages. I highly recommend this beautiful instrument especially for the price (I paid £63 after the 10% discount) and the supplied gig bag and accessories are an added bonus. Ideal for beginners and pro's alike. Thank you Lankro!!!

This isn't the loudest Ukulele I've ever come across. It has a nice, mellow, soft sound; ideal for beginners.It comes with a tuner and some starter books. The tuner works but it a bit pointless - the starter books are pretty good.The Ukulele itself is really very good looking, and if you're a musician yourself buying this for your kid, like I did, you won't be disappointed. It's a really nice starter instrument.

Excellent toneNot easy to tune,especially c string. Could be quality of tuners?Personally did not like finish, although it is as described.

This brand of ukulele has seriously blown me away, I've played uke, guitar, banjo and mandolin for over 30 yearsI bought the soprano version and wifey bought the tenor, both are amazing instruments, not even just for the moneyAll solid woods, the fretboard and Bridge are both composite but that's not a bad thing as two major guitar companies are using composite fretbords on £2000 + instrumentsIt also has bone nut and saddle giving a fantastic tone and slotted headstock usually seen on expensive instrumentsAnd with all the added extras, tuner, capo, strap, strings, plectrums and even a decent padded caseThese are really well worth the money, like Dylan said, don't think twice lol,Very highly recommended, even if you have played for years. A +++++

I ordered the concert version of this instrument, which arrived well packed and by next day. The first impression was not good. It had a weird finish of gloss over very rough wood - I've seen better finished sheds. On tuning it, the tone and volume was good. The fingerboard and bridge were not rosewood as specified, but some sort of man made material, though I did not find this a problem, though I found the neck rather narrow. The tuning machines were good quality and I liked the slotted headstock. However, on close examination, the back and sides were not solid wood, but laminate. Only the top was solid. This was very misleading, even dishonest. The case was thinly padded and on my example, the carrying strap was very badly frayed. Overall I was disappointed and returned it to Amazon.

Bought as a present my niece was able to tune the instrument and play a tune within few minutes. Comes with case and other extras. Nice tone

This is a cut above a starter instrument. It is likely to make you want to play it when lesser instruments could discourage.
