My Grandaughter loved this gift. She has already made us all chocolates and they were very tasty. I'm just concerned that the refills may be expensive and she will go through them quickly

This was a complete debacle. I ordered this for our 9-year-old granddaughter for Christmas, and we had a playdate to use it today. Good thing she had an available adult, because it was nearly impossible even for me to snap the closures on the tips, and to keep the candy at the correct temperature. The pen squirts the candy out either way too fast or not at all. It was pretty disappointing for her. After trying repeatedly to get this thing to cooperate, I melted some chocolate chips and put them in a frosting decorator bag for her. That worked like a charm. So if you want to play fancy chocolates with your kid, I highly recommend bypassing this piece of garbage and just using a pastry bag, Cheaper, and waaaaay easier.

Very disappointed. My daughter couldn't use it without help because the pen was broken when we got it & there's no way to open the pen up to fix it so now I have to buy a new one If that's possible & the clamps were hard as heck to close. Tastes great but this is not something that a child can play with without assistance. I wish I had known this before ordering.

Our daughter loves the set and being able to create the chocolate molds and decorate her own goodies has been a treat for her! (pun intended) it is a little clunky to put together at first but work with it and you will get it. Make sure to follow the directions and enjoy!!

It's a nice idea, but so not worth the time and aggregation. By the time you get the chocolate melted and the pen together your so aggregated that you just want to be done.

This is the worst thing ever! It was a Christmas gift for my daughter and it has been an absolute mess. The chocolate hardens before you can get it to the tip. Getting it liquid again is impossible without the tip coming off and the chocolate getting wet. Which is a no no. Unfortunately we used the chocolate trying to get it to work that I won't be able to return it.

My son just received this for Christmas and has been wanting it forever. Very disappointed that the chocolate is over a year expired.
