[2019 Upgraded] HDTV Antenna - Digital Amplified HD TV Antenna 60-80 Mile Range 4K HD VHF UHF Freeview Television (50-80 Mile Range 4K)

Purchased this supposed 65 mile antenna to see if it would pull in channels better than the View TV 50 mile flat antenna I previously purchased. Both antenna's had a amplifier, but oddly the 50 mile View TV antenna performed better without the amplifier, while this one performed better with the included amplifier. I mounted both in the same place--the best spot I could find for overall reception of San Antonio area stations. This antenna did not pull in any stations the 50 miles antenna did not pull in, but with the amplifier one of the closer stations (only 23 miles away) that sometimes went in and out seems to come in more consistently (so far I'm consistently receiving it). So, for that one channel (and its sub-channels), this antenna made the difference for me. With both antennas I was already receiving a channel that is 47 miles away. FYI, I have the antenna running to another amplifier on the side of the house that takes the signal to 3 different tuners & all 3 pick up the same channels consistently. I am still not able to get a few other channels that are supposedly closer (according to antennaweb). But, with the exception of PBS (which is only 20 miles away) I get all the major networks at once now.

I have four other HD digital antenna to compare it to, and all same butterfly style/flat..... This unit got 3 more channels than my other units. However I noticed unlike my other antennas this unit work worse with the amplifier... .I even tried switching different amplifiers for my different units....The amplifier that came with this antenna seemed to worsen even antenna I hooked it to. And the amplifiers from my other units did not help or just made worse the reception of this unit.... This unit is worth buying, just try with and without the amplifier.

We could only scrape in like 3 channels out here in the boonies and this one gave us 4-5 more (depending on the weather). The most important thing is that it got us CBS so the guys can watch football. We otherwise rarely watch TV so it saved us from getting satellite just to watch an occasional game. Long cord allowed us lots of versatility in mounting. Great purchase!

I like this product because it brings channels in better than similar antennas I’ve owned and used. It’s not weatherproof of course, because it’s an indoor antenna! Just plug it in to your HDTV and enjoy!

We bought this for the TV in our bedroom because I didn't want to pay for an additional receiver. It works great. We get about 30 different channels including several from over 50 miles away.

I cut the cable in my home 2 years ago but I wanted to have some local channels just for the weather and some local content. I waited to purchase an antenna because of how bad I remember the reception in my home years ago. After much research on the broadcasting stations near me I found that I could get about 20+ channels If I I purchased an antenna for 50-60 mile range. I set the antenna up last night and It worked perfectly. The HD signal is very clear and I was very pleased with the results. If I knew it would have been this clear I would have purchased this antenna sooner.

Love it!!! Tried different antenas to get my local channels but none work since I live in an old, tick, cement wall building making it hard for any antena to receive the signal. However, this one did, not a very strong reception I may say but it did the impossible. I also want to add, that once I put the antena on the window the signal got stronger. Some channels still break but that comes with using any antena. Overall I gave it 5 starts because it did what no other 3 different antenas were able to do, even if I put them on the window.

Writing these reviews are sometimes difficult. The antenna is advertised to cover a 65 mile radius. I live 45-50 miles from the Harrisburg/Lancaster (PA) metro area which offers local NBC, CBS, and ABC TV stations. I do not receive any of these channels. I live 25 miles from an NBC affiliate and several small independent stations that offer very selected programming. These channels are what I receive. So, the antenna works but not what it's advertised.
