NOT Stainless Steel
I was leery of these screws being stainless when they miserably failed the magnet test.They stuck to a small magnet like glue. (See picture)I used the same magnet on my mixture of stainless hardware I had bought over the years and NONE of them stuck.I should have returned them immediately but decided to do an experiment.I attached these screws to a board (one of these screws, a random non ss zinc plated screw, and a ss screw).,I put the board outside and waited.The results were not good. The Hilitchi screw started showing rust on the head (see picture) and the other two showed no rust. An epic fail for the Hilitchi screw.Enough said.

Better than expected.
Kind of supervised by the bad reviews. Purchased these after having issues with another brand. These far exceeded my expectations for the price paid. Have used these on very thick steel plate and box steel box tube, Hadn’t had one head break off even when I had to use my Milwaukee M18 impact to drive these in. Worked as described better quality than expected. Only thing I can complain about is the box is a little to hard and cracks easy. Maybe I received a good batch, ordering another box shortly.

The real deal
These are 304 stainless meaning they won't rust over time. The self tapping bit is sharp and goes through aluminum with no problem. Nice assortment of sizes. Comes in a decent case.

CHEAP JUNK!!!
If you plan to use these in anything other than soft wood, plastic or fiberglass, don't buy them. They are cheap junk. They are not self tapping in any metal, other than soft/thin aluminum. If you attempt to tighten them beyond "lightly snug", they will wring off.Do not waste your money.

50% failure rate
These are garbage screws. Half just snap into mild steel.

Good bits cheep box
Great little bits and yes they are magnetized. The cheep box broke the first time I opened it, now I have to transfer everything to another cheep box.

They break easy
They break very easily unless you are penetrating the thinnest of metals.

Great assortment of screws.
Got a lot more than I needed. If I would buy individual screws, it would have cost a lot more. Nice case (although I didn't need it).
