Usually I get stuff from Amazon and am please with oh, 94% of what I buy and I just carry on. However, when I purchase something and it pleases me that I spent $$ on it, it deserves a review. I live in a 100 unit apartment building, all seniors. Yeah, I know. A few people had them on my floor and I started thinking, hey, maybe this will diffuse my noise a little. And, incase a roach decides to wander down the hall to my place, well, it's SNUG. (I've been lucky to have only seen 4 in the six years I've lived here.) The hallway noise doesn't seem to bother my yappy Scnoodle as much. As a matter of fact, it slows my door from slamming shut!! I always had to slow the door down and quietly close the door. Not any more! About a foot from closing, it stops. I have to PULL the door shut. And, I like it! This added surprise caused this review. Oh, a whole 3 minutes to assemble and install... maybe 5. Lastly, I love my maroon/wine color. The end.

Item is not functioning right at all! 3 small tubes on each side have to be taped together. It comes with ONE strip to hold each piece on one side. Which makes it a hassle to assemble. The part that holds the tube doesnt close all the way and the flap it way to bulky to even shut the door! I ordered the exact size and shouldn't have needed to trim it down. I trimmed off some hoping the flap would be smooth so I could close the door but nope. Cutting it down to fit is a joke. 0 stars if I could! Sending this back and ordering the brand I always do.

The materials used are great, but that's where it ends. Main complaints:- The foam comes in 6 pieces (3 per side), and you need to stick them together with stickers (and enough are only provided to adhere two foam pieces together on one side instead of multiple for more even adhesion).- The foam pieces provided are not cut evenly on the ends but are rather angled, making adhesion more difficult.- Once I cut the foam pieces to fit my door, the two sides of the velcro no longer lined up, so to line them up, I ended up with some extra fabric extending beyond the ends of my foam- The folding of the fabric with the velcro created enough bunching of material that it would not slide under my door and stuck out the end.I'm going to need to do my own ad-hoc design changes to this to make it work well enough, including cutting the foam properly, adhering the foam together with duct tape instead, and cutting and sewing the material so there's no excess.Not a bad idea for a product, but solid foam pieces and better velcro design would have done the trick to make this 4-5 stars.

I chose this because it was neutral and appeared easily adjustable. After cutting down the foam pieces and placing them into the sleeve, the length required to fold closed didn’t allow for the Velcro to connect. It also was sloppy looking on the folded end with all that additional fabric spilling out of the folded side. I took off the Velcro

The "light grey" is definitely more beige or tan than it is grey, especially when compared to other grey textiles. Didn't assemble, but it's the same as every other Chinese package of foam tubes, stickers, fabric sleeve, and poorly translated instruction sheet.

This door stopper is very effective when blocking drafts and also any potential bugs that might want to enter your domain. I would purchase again!

Love how you can make your own size and washable

Easy to install and works well on my hardwood floor. My guess is this thing will pay for itself very quickly.
