Don't be fooled by the reviews. The Bluetooth audio codec for this device is as cheap as they come. It's no better than a $5 bargain bin speaker you find at a truck stop. The Diamond boxx A2DP Bluetooth codeconly supports SBC codecs which means the best sound you will ever get is slightly better than most streaming audio stations. It does not support lossless audio. The codec can't even properly play 320 kbps mp3 audio without degredation.The first image is a spectral waveform from a 256kbps compressed audio file. That's THE BEST that the diamond boxx Bluetooth codec can output, no matter the quality of the sound file. Compare that to the second image from the same uncompressed audio file. HUGE difference. The diamond boxx takes an 1/8 of your fidelity and throws it in the trash.I'm beyond disappointed with the bluetooth receiver. I'm heartbroken. It does not live up to the promise of the boxx and defeats the whole purpose of spending so much money on an alleged hi-fi bluetooth device :(It's unfortunate to have my beautiful FLAC files transcoded into a lossy mess. It's shocking that such a lo-end version of bluetooth is provided considering that the rest of the gear is top notch.Audiophiles beware! All that glitters is not gold. The Bluetooth fidelity on this thing is as fake as the cubic zerconia over the battery indicator.

Amazing sound quality. I haven’t had to recharge the battery yet. It is also well built and feels like it can’t take a beating unlike my Bowers and Wilkins floor standing speakers which are beautiful and say don’t touch me...

All I can say is, it is expensive. but worth it if you love quality sound. There is no blue tooth speaker that remotely comes close to the sound quality of this little speaker. Unbelievable sound. Every time someone comes by to visit they are amazed at the sound quality of this speaker. And it will get loud and stay clear. I have listened to numerous other brands and purchased them and brought them back, such as Bose, dreamwave, Harmon Kardon. This is the best.

This is just the best portable bluetooth speaker out there for this size. Perfect crisp sound great bass and super loud volume with no distortion. Every single dollars worth!

this box does not disappoint.

Bluetooth quality is pretty bad. Audio sounds clipped even on low volume and a noticeble hissing sound when the track get more silent or inbetween tracks. On aux it sounds fine though. Just pretty lame to have to use aux with a bluetooth speaker.
