This keeps my laptop pretty safe from scratches. I have a 17.3 inch gaming laptop approx 0.8" thick.this interior is a soft, and your laptop shouldn't get scratched by the zipper except if you are not careful putting it into the bag or taking it out.This holds it and fits in my bookbag pretty well. Will have to test durability though, it's only been a short time.

This fits my 17" HP perfectly! Nice soft padding but not bulky, so it can fit inside a bag easily. The zippered pocket is a nice bonus to keep my charger in. I wouldn't recommend using this by itself for traveling with your laptop, as it's only soft sided so it won't offer much protection if dropped. It's perfect to use for inside a bag or keeping at home.

Serves the intended purpose well. Offers reasonable protection to the laptop from bumps. Certainly not drop proof, or intended for serious weather exposure. Outside sleeve pocket is tight, and not intended to hold accessories of any bulk.

Folks, a 17-inch laptop is measured on the diagonal, just like a TV set. These guys have moronically made a sleeve that's 17 inches WIDE. That means it's like 25-30% larger than you want. Trust me - it's comically huge. If you had a laptop that was actually that big, you'd need a suitcase to carry it.

Fit perfectly for my 17.3" gaming laptop. Inside is a soft material like velvet fabric that helps the laptop not be scratched when placed inside. So, I customize MSI logo on it to fit with my MSI gaming laptop, it's flat badge logo and cannot remove.
