Q: Do these have metatarsal support?

These sandals have an anatomical arch support, but say nothing about metatarsal support!

Q: Where are these made?

Sadly, the manufacturer has made these in China. It is CHEAPER to make them over there, plus labor laws are lax so Reef has no need to worry about too many regulations over there. Probably, last pair I buy. Next time I will look to buy from another country.

Q: Is the foot-bed real leather or synthetic?

If by "foot-bed" you mean the straps, the answer is that they are leather. The sole is a composite material that provides excellent cushioning and orthopedic support. Each style is a bit different, though, so read the descriptions to see which is best for you. You can also get good information at the Reef website. I started wearing Reefs eight years ago when a friend recommended them. They are now my footwear of choice from May through October (if I lived with my daughter in San Diego rather than here in Pennsylvania, that would read, "all year.")
