First off, I am a home DIYer, and don't use a multi-tool on a daily basis. I was looking for a compact way to carry some essential tools in my car and on vacation for minor repairs. My first choice was a Leatherman Wave+ based on numerous reviews, but I was leery of the usability of the "flat" driver bits. This one has a tool which will take standard 1/4" drive bits. I just received this tool so this is an initial impression only based on minimal testing.My pet peeve is a tool which isn't durable and functional. On first blush, this one appears to be both. As others have said, it is a bit hefty at 11.5 oz. for the tool itself (Leatherman Wave is only 8.5 oz.) and 22 oz. for the full set including the tool, bit set, universal socket, and sheath. All of the tools are available from the outside of the tool, no need to open the pliers first and all tools lock in place for secure use. There is no pocket clip, but the tool is so heavy that you probably don't want to clip it on your pocket anyway.I still don't know what steel the knife blades are made of, but they appear to be relatively sharp. Durability of the edge remains to be seen. The serrated blade appears to be very useful for cutting rope, etc.There is a standard 1/4" bit holder but it has no retention for the bit so the bit is sometimes pulled out while using it. The bit holder locks at both 90 and 180 degrees so you have two options for removing stubborn screws. The bits themselves are very useful and passed my initial test of driving a wood screw into a scrap piece of wood. The bit fit my screw perfectly with no slip while driving.The pliers are excellent. The jaws come together very square at the tip providing a secure gripping surface for small objects and there is NO flex in the joint. The pliers are sprung and very comfortable and easy to use. I was able to cut through a piece of 12-3 NM-B house wire with ease, although it did take two cuts as the cutters are not wide enough to cut in one pass.My tool came with a small credit card sized multi-tool which fits in a pouch in the front of the sheath. It is an excellent tool, robust but heavy.The pliers are robust and have a great value for money. The tools and accessories are robust, the knife is very sharp and its saw is great, these are positive points.Some negative points: The bits have a very firm fit, sometimes difficult to fix others difficult to remove, I recommend sanding them, but they will lose their paint.Still on the use of bits, when fitted it is a little uncomfortable to screw something in, which is even more true for the universal socket.There is also a wire cutting part on the pliers, which I tried to use to cut cables and it was difficult for cables greater than 20awg.

I really like the tool I use it everyday for work but the case it comes with is cloth and not designed to stand up to everyday work wear and tear my case feel apart in 2 weeks it would be great for camping or something like that

My initial item was defective, so I contacted the seller, and they immediately suggested I return the item. I received the replacement the next day.I'm very impressed with this Multitool. The construction is solid, and the blade comes already sharpen. I love the safety lock and universal socket feature. It even comes with a pocket survival tool. The case is made of good quality.It is heavy but I think that speaks of the quality material used in construction. Highly Recommended!

My dad is the pickiest person to buy gifts for and he LOVES it. It’s sturdy and dense which he likes. He connected the pieces and nothing was loose, he thinks it’s the coolest gadget! Definitely worth the money with everything it comes with.
