No more white on trim!
This is easy to apply and remove. The best thing is it doesn't leave any white streaks when you accidentally wipe it onto the plastic trim. It leaves a deep shine. It goes on easy and comes off easier than others I've tried over the years. I have found that it doesn't appear to last as long as other products but that is a small tradeoff to have when you don't have that ugly white smear on the plastic. I will only use this going forward.

Now I am convinced.
To be honest, I am not a good at taking care of my cars or trucks. My last car, I had "Ziebarted" and relied on it for my yearly car wash. I had recently bought a new GMC Terrain Denali (red) off the show room floor. Once home and others saw it, I received comments such as, "nice car". Since I did not opt to have it "Ziebarted", I committed to cleaning and waxing it myself. So, being a novice (at 70) at this car cleaning thing, I ran across this product. I thought a liquid wax would go on easier than a paste wax (anything to make it easier). So, jumping in, I bought some Meguiar's Gold Class Car Wash, this Meguiar's Ultimate Liquid Wax and some hand wax pads and microfiber towels. After a wash and dry, I was ready. It was hot so I moved the car into the garage and got started. Doing a panel at a time, I applied the wax using the pad. I still don't know how much you are actually supposed to put on. The product said thin, so it was thin. I rubbed in circular motions and then let it dry while doing another panel. Once done with the second panel, I took a microfiber cloth and started wiping the first panel. I must say, it came off as I had hoped and expected. It left a very nice shine. Well, this was repeated until done. Now this is where I knew this stuff must be good. Many places I went I started to receive comments about how it looked, "Love the color", "Wow, nice car" and others. Totally different from when I just took it off the lot. It was slick to the touch. My wife was afraid to touch it for fear it would leave a print on it, it looked so nice. This has convinced me, at least for now, that this is what I am going to use.So, I thought, "Ok, if it did this good on my car, what would it do on my truck?". My truck is a 2005 Chevy Silverado and I have washed it maybe, uh, once since I got it 20 years ago. Hey, it's a truck. I have hauled truckloads of overflowing brush, mulch, lumber, dirt, etc. In the winter I used a straw broom to brush off the snow. It has sat outside for 20 years. The paint is worn on the top and hood. What could go wrong. In the heat of the day, I got started. Two washes. It was pretty dirty. For the wax, I did one panel at a time and wiped it off. It was hot so it dried fast, and I did not want to find out how hard it would be to get off if I left it too long. Well, I think it did pretty good. Look at the pic. Hmmm, now I am thinking I just might trade it in or sell it for a new one since I am an old pro at this now.

A Great Shine and Easy to Use
I have historically used paste waxes. Often Meguiars like this product. I read about this "Ultimate" liquid wax. It is the easiest to use wax ever. The shine is excellent. This is MY product from now on.

Great car wax, lousy bottle.
This is easily the best car wax I have used so far. Very little is needed to cover the surface of the car. It doesn't leave unsightly wax residue on black trim, in fact it actually rejuvenates it. It's a pleasure to use. The only drawback is the awful, extremely fragile bottle it comes in. Because liquid wax is extremely slippery the bottle can easily slip from your hands and fall. Unfortunately the bottle is as fragile as an egg shell and cracks just as easily. I lost half or more of the contents of the bottle because it fell and cracked badly and leaked all over my driveway. I saved what was left of the wax and poured It into a plastic bottle. You may want to avoid such disasters and transfer the wax into a non-fragile plastic bottle as soon as you receive it.Pro tip: If you want to be able to use your driveway as a skating rink, pour some of this wax on it. This wax will make your driveway as slippery as a wet soap bar.I would have given this wax a 5 star rating but the bottle is truly dreadful. I Can't imagine a good reason for the manufacturer to use such a fragile bottle.

Not impressed at the beginning…. But great results in the end!
I have used Gold Class for years. Today I tried the Ultimate Coumpound followed by the liquid Ultimate Wax. The wax seemed to take a long time to set up and left an oil residue behind. Today’s temps were 85 degrees, sunny and clear. I was applying the wax in my garage to avoid direct sun. I got about 1/3 of a deep red Chevy Tahoe done. Let’s see what tomorrow brings. Ok, Day 2 - I pulled out of the garage and finished the waxing. Seems like this did a lot better in direct sunlight. The compound followed by the Ultimate Wax brought out amazing color and finish. Everything done by hand and turned out great!

Waste of time and money
I was so excited to try this product. I had been talking about it for weeks. It was a huge waste of both time and money.I have waxed my truck several times and am familiar with the process. I’m a relatively strong individual and was killing myself trying to get this product off. I tried it thicker. Then thinner. Nothing worked. It left streaks and splotches all over my truck no matter how much buffing I did. I was exhausted from the exertion I was putting into it - just my hood and two doors and gave up.This was very disappointing considering I had heard good things about the brand. I think I’ll stick with Nuwax.

Works well on boats
I use this to restore the shine on my 30-year-old Ranger bass boat. Maguire‘s products work amazing!
