This product was cheaper at Walmart and better quality. It can be purchased for $5 there instead of paying $15, and it quality is not good.

My son wanted a pin board so bad, but I kept reading how the classic metal pin art boards are very sharp and people are getting cut form them. And who knows what heavy metals are being used in them coming over from China.I have only read good things about the plastic versions. I was hesitant, but this one is a winner. First of all, I think because plastic is cheaper, you get a larger size from the same amount of money as the metal ones. Pins move fluidliy and hold in place really well. Kids love it and the parents get a thrill out of it too.The only complaint I have is that the darkness of the blue does not give a good enough contrast of the depth of the image unless you are in a well lit room, or outdoors. That's where the metal pins win out, but I'd rather be safe with the plastic version.

Package arrived after quick shipping. My kiddo was dying for one of these since Xmas. Some of the reviews worried me about items arriving broken and the durability but it arrived in good shape with good packaging. So far over 2 weeks its been working great and no issues with the plastic posts or the pins. I considered metal pins like the one I had as a kid but the red plastic pins have worked great and no issues with him putting it against his skin or face. Good price for a larger Pin Art vs smaller versions.
