Great Basic Shorts!
Purchased royal blue: Like most other buyers, I found the sizing to be true. I am 5'4" 163#, and bought a 14. I tried them on before and after washing and experienced very little shrinkage. I own two other pair of these shorts that I bought last summer, and they're perfect! Nice weight sturdy cotton/poly fabric, no-nonsense style and fit for a mature woman of 65-or 25-great wardrobe basic. I'm sad that the fun colors are out of stock in my size. I'll keep my eyes open for a restock. ;-)

Decent quality, good value
These shorts are well made. The material is soft and the length is perfect. They are not so long that they are frumpy, but not so short that they look ridiculous on someone who isn't a teenager. I wish they offered them in a mid rise, but if you like a high rise look they'd be great. The only thing I don't like is how the pocket on the front look. I would prefer them to lay flat instead of poking out a little on the sides. That is not the fault of these shorts though, that is the style of a chino short... they are all made that way. If you like chinos, these are a good value, decent quality and they have several colors to choose from.

I’m really happy with the Amazon Essentials Women’s Mid-Rise Slim-Fit Khaki
The material is soft and breathable, so they're perfect for warmer days. I also love that they have a bit of stretch, making them comfortable for everyday wear and for moving around. My only slight issue is that they’re a tad tight around the waist, but not enough to be uncomfortable—just something to note if you’re in between sizes.Overall, these shorts are a great value for the price. They’re stylish, comfortable, and they hold up well after washing. I would definitely recommend them for anyone looking for a casual, yet polished pair of shorts for the summer!

Perfect length, great fit
Just right for wearing out & about. Long enough to feel confidently covered, but not too long. Can dress up a bit or go totally casual. I bought 2 pairs & wear all the time.

Weird sizing
I bought the slim straight version of this and they fit pretty well...Size 10. I figured the curvy might fit a bit better but the waist was considerable smaller. The 10 straight is more like a size 8. I am going to try the straight 12 and see how that goes... I love the way the legs fit... not too wide and not too long, and the fabric is perfect, but I need the waist to be a little roomier. I am 5 ft and 140 labs.

Solid purchase -know your size
I ordered khaki brown, straight, size 18. I normally wear a size 16 pant petite because my inseam is 28 inches. I ordered the size up after reading comments. The color is great. The fabric is great, and the fit for me is great. These shorts are on the shorter side, which is what I prefer since I have a short inseam. I am top-heavy and carry my weight in my midsection so I got the straight to accommodate that.

Great shorts…runs very small, so get 2 sizes larger.
I love these shorts. They are very comfortable, but they run very small. I am a size 6, but I had to buy a size 10 in these shorts. They just fit.

Cute but sizing is weird
Sizing is very off. I consistently wear a size 10 or 30 in all brands and Amazon recommended I get a 16. It fits perfectly. This may be because the curvy fit at least rests on my hips rather than my waist but still, the sizing is very weird. Use reviews not your normal size to gauge sizing!
