Cat Toilet Training System By Litter Kwitter - Teach Your Cat to Use the Toilet - With Instructional DVD

I have used a City Kitty as well as this Litter Kwitter and the Litter Kwitter is made of MUCH sturdier plastic (3-4 times as thick).As I have used both designs I can honestly say that this is the better design.With the City Kitty you have to cut the litter insert for stages 2 & 3. With the Litter Kwitter you get THREE(3) sturdy inserts and the sturdy plastic of the base that the inserts go in to is a very good fit on an elongated toilet bowl.While both designs can be cleaned, you only have two inserts that you have to cut the centre out as your cat goes through the three(3) stages of training The Litter Kwitter gives you three(3) separate inserts that you just swap out for the bigger hole. This works much better if you change centre hole sizes too soon and have to go back to the smaller hole. If this were to happen with the City Kitty, you would have to either use the spare insert and maybe have to cut its centre hole to the previous size. And if you really mess up using the City Kitty, you better be good at using duct tape to reattach the piece you cut out. The Litter Kwitter eliminates this whole issue by giving you three(3) separate inserts that you DO NOT cut to size.The only thing I can suggest to people is to put the toilet seat DOWN on top of the Litter Kwitter and use some double sided foam mounting tape to build up a barrier between the feet on the toilet seat to reduce the litter that gets tossed out of the toilet instead of in to it. Attach the foam tape to the Litter Kwitter base to the same height as the supports on the underside of the toilet seat. Then some clear food wrap to seal the top adhesive.I also went and bought one of those toilet seats that has a kiddy toilet trainer built in.Once the cat is used to using the toilet without any inserts, I will lower the kiddy trainer seat down so he will have more of a flat surface to stand on. This toilet seat is sold here on Amazon.ca as well.DO NOT BUY ANY SORT OF TOILET SEAT THAT USES ACTUAL WOOD!! They use particle board and if the paint gets scratched the damp will cause the wood to swell and fall apart.I'm a 61yo batchelor and when I was training my first cat, it also trained me to put the seat down so neither my cat or a visiting female could fall in and drown. The cat has an excuse but the human should have looked first.
