The children in my class LOVE this book. Great opportunities to expand on vocab, explore rhyme and link to writing tasks. We can’t wait for the next one!

What a fun read that got our 4 year old in giggles!This is a well-executed book, written in rhyme, and there's no doubt the author and illustrator have talent. This is such an imaginative story line with fantastic colourful illustrations that are captivating for the young ones.I love that the family at the heart of the book is not a stereotypical one and in fact is a very much real one at that! A great conversation starter to show our little ones that we are all different yet all the same!This book is a great story of a dog that is committed to get what she wants but at the same time gives it all up to help others!Love, kindness, perseverance at its best! An adorable book that definitely recommend!

Maybe a little old for a 3 year old, but I enjoyed it

I really enjoyed this story. It's a bit different - dogs in children's books tend to be cute, cuddly, or heroic and sometimes all three. Stinkerton McPoo has elements of all three, but he's also naughty (a sneaky sausage stealer!), and very smelly when stressed! Needless to say the author, Stephen Hodgkinson-Soto, gives Stinkerton plenty to be stressed about! But just when when Stinkerton seems about to get his comeuppance, his heroic side emerges in a daring rescue, and his sausage stealing crimes are forgiven and forgotten. But will his smelly side still get the better of him?A great read and beautifully illustrated. Young readers will love the whiff of naughtiness in Stinkerton McPoo...

Great story really funny my granddaughter will love it - she adores “trumps” and finds them hilarious. The dog is like our black cocker Jack so for her it’s perfect. So good I’ve already bought book two. Great work for three year olds and grandparents !

Bought for my 7 year old granddaughter who is a reluctant reader . This is so funny and appeals greatly to the usual 7 year olds toilet humour.She loves this book and it encourages her to read with it’s easy rhyming text and great illustrations.Looking forward to more in the series . Would be nice I think in a smaller format as at the moment it looks like a younger child’s book and not the age 4 to 9 as advertised.

I have two boys, who as you would correctly assume, laugh their heads off every time they do their own bottom burps. So in a book about a gas they rolled with laugher on each Stinkerton rumble.We were able to also talk about how Stinkerton helping someone in need, and how important it is to always remember to help others whenever we can.A great book, loved by my boys and will become a definitely frequent read - “can we read the trumpy dog book daddy!!”

We have both books in this series and they are fantastic. Our four and six year old laughed and laughed! The illustrations are wonderful, the book is inclusive (without being overbearing about it) and they are so well written. There is also really nice messaging in both. Highly recommend!

I think this author will be a new favorite for my grandkids! This was a really fun read leaving us wondering what other adventures Stinkerton McPoo will get into. Well written, humorous, and well animated.

I purchased this book for my granddaughters they giggled throughout the story. We can't wait for the next instalment to this story just fabulous
