When I opened the package, I noticed immediately that the chain was severed. Very disappointing. Normally I would return it, but I needed it on the day it arrived as a confirmation gift. The cross itself is attractive, but make sure you have a spare chain at the ready.

The cross is inlaid with Paua shell from New Zealand, which is abalone shell. More bright and brilliant with swirls of blue, green, and sometimes a touch of pink and yellow here and there.
