I was dismayed when I found fluffy white mold growing on the kitchen cabinets in my apartment (which I am newly a resident of). I googled how to get rid of mold and every article stated eliminating humidity with a dehumidifier. I had no idea such a small dehumidifier existed, but I am really pleased to have found this. I run it during the daytime hours, and it does the job, as I can see the water accumulate. (I also got a Levoit air purifier to capture the mold spores). It's pretty quiet. I don't usually use the colored lights, but it's a cute feature. I am confident that with this setup, this mold problem will be resolved. UPDATE******************************** I've learned that the best way to evaluate the effectiveness of a dehumidifier is to measure the % Relative Humidity using a hygrometer. I did that and realized that although water does accumulate in the dehumidifier's reservoir, the % humidity in my kitchen is basically unchanged. Therefore, this dehumidifier is not efficient enough to meet my needs of reducing the room humidity low enough that mold will not grow. However, in a small and enclosed room, I believe this could be of benefit.

We bought it for our camper because we read that campers are pretty humid. The dehumidifier does a great job of getting moisture out of the air and we have to empty the water tank about every 5-7 days. It's been running pretty much non-stop since we got it.

Quiet and does lower humidity, but wasn't enough capacity to manage my closet

The dehumidifier is very leak. Not enough power to fast dry the room as I expected. It take 8hours to dehumidify by 10 units of humidity. Have little noise, but my baby’s sleep is not disturbed.I like the way the dehumidifier looks and it’s function to auto-stop are useful.

It seems to be working pretty well. Using it in a basement family room. I empty it about every 3 days.I do think it helps keep the musty smell at bay.Colored lights a cute touch.Not sure about energy efficiency yet, as have only had a month

I've had it less than a week, but I can tell you that when it says it's for a small space, they mean really small. My average sized bedroom was at a consistent 66% humidity before I purchased this, and with this gadget, it now hoovers at around 60%. It's never gotten below 58%. It took around 3 days for the little container to completely fill with water. And it's noisier than expected, considering it's advertised as "quiet." The noise is on a par with an average oscillating fan. I write reviews because I always read other people's comments before I purchase something on amazon, it's been very helpful in the past.

I have been wanting a dehumidifier for a while and I am so glad I found this little one. It works great. I live in Georgia in an apartment complex so there isn't much I can control with the humidity. I finally ordered this when my HVAC went out and am waiting on a new unit. The humidity in my apartment was almost unbearable. In less than 24 hours my apartment is much more comfortable. The machine doesn't make any noise and the LED lights are a nice touch. Fast delivery too!

I cannot notice the difference between having this device and not. I think it works for small rooms like closets and I think you have to make sure to use it in an almost sealed room or very closed spaces.

This small unit (about a foot in height) works great for a single room. Quiet and collects water very well.
