Hidden Games Crime Scene - Case No. 2 - THE MIDNIGHT CROWN - British UK - Murder Mystery Game, exciting detective game

Just what me and my partner needed for a stay-in date night after having a baby. Baby slept and we had a blast cracking this detective game. The game can last around 2-3 hours so make sure you have a good amount of time to play. It’s good fun throughout looking at all the interactive clues and figuring out the case. Would highly recommend for anyone looking at a fun night in with a partner or even a small group of friends. Make sure you’ve got your detective hat on though for this one because it can be hard 😊

Really good, inventive do at home murder mystery delivered in super high quality. Inclusion of real websites, phone numbers and a background story to figure out was super fun!Only complaints were that it was hard to know when we had enough info to solve the case - it was implied over text message that something would happen in 1 hour’s time, but instead nothing happened - that was the last clue (which was only needed for the first thing to solve out of 4). Other minor gripe was that the options on the website for the second thing to solve all overlapped massivelyWould have been better to get a final call from the detective saying “that’s all the evidence we will get, now go close the case!”But will absolutely buy more in future!!!

Didn't know what to expect but I must say the twists and turns in case were brilliant all the clues are relevent aswell. The criminal at the end was not who I thought. Would buy a simpler one again

We really enjoyed this. I feel their first case was better perhaps but nonetheless it was a really enjoyable evening. We were unable to get onto one website as the safe settings on mum's WiFi said no. There's nothing wrong with the website and we should have popped onto 4g and checked it out. Definitely worth a punt, give it a go!

This is the second Hidden Games mystery we have done and we have enjoyed both of them.This isn't a murder mystery, but rather the theft of a crown...Enjoyed the mixed media format of the materials provided in the pack, complemented by extra soundclips, website content etc. We managed to solve the crime successfully! Would recommend for a evening in.

My daughter loves these crime cases, she was hooked after completing the first case, it gives you numbers to call, you also have to log into fake emails but it all looks so real like your actually trying to solve a murder

My husband and I enjoyed this game - we had played a couple of other similar games in the past so knew what to expect. However - clearly there is more than one English version of this game... WHY?? We eventually got ourselves a little stumped so wanted to see extra clues at the hidden games website. It defauted to the american version of the clues and the character names and place names are all different, although the underlying plot is the same as for the UK version. Ridiculous that it didn't know we are in the UK as all other websites work it out. Also completely ridiculus to have two English versions of the same game. It wasn't just the clues on the website which came with the American translation - we also found throughout the game that some of the audio files had names which didn't make sense to us - and it was because they were using the american script rather than the UK one.

Nos gustó mucho, ya habíamos probado otro tipo de juegos parecidos pero este nos gustó más. Te deja un poco más a la imaginación que otros, y se resuelve relativamente fácil

I giochi della serie sono davvero divertenti. Non posto foto per non spoilerare contenuti e indizi.Per ora ho acquistato i primi tre capitoli. Divertente la possibilità di interagire tramite app, sito e telefonate per risolvere il caso. Ogni caso è scritto discretamente bene e risulta sempre interessante e stimolante.La vera pecca del gioco è che una volta completato non può essere rigiocato dalle stesse persone ma se dividete la spesa con degli amici vi verrà a costare meno di una pizza e passerete qualche ora di sana investigazione di gruppo.Acquisto stra consigliato.

This game is extremely well made and thought. It’s great for a game night evening and to pull conversation even between people that just got to know each other. Looking forward to get the different versions.
