Exactly what I was after
I have been looking for a bright light colour to mix with violet as I was trying to create my own shade and this is perfect as it gives more shine and more of the punk look I was after. I used a 30 vol. developing cream.Very happy with this and I have arlready reordered it, I get 2 uses out of one tube as I use a violet tube to mix with it too (I have medium/long curly hair).

Very dark
I've used this brand many times and know exactly how to mix the colours with developer. I mixed the correct ratio, like a lot of blue dyes the colour will appear purply at first while it develops. I found the end result so dark in ordinary light I couldn't see any blue, I had to stand in bright sunlight to see what was a really lovely rich blue but very very dark. A friend asked if I had dyed it black it was that dark. I've no idea what went wrong, I realise dyes can sometimes be unpredictable, your own base colour will affect the end results but this dye is very dark.

Dark Ash Blonde
I purchased Dark Ash Blonde - was looking to try and find a dark grey toned dye to cover natural Auburn hair with some natural grey /white roots. The dye was even with results - excellent coverage - covered grey/white hairs particularly well. However this left an orange tone to the hair which was not the colour I was looking for.
