The colour of this mat is actually more of a pleasing pale purple than the aubergine shade in the photo, but the underside is that nice pale pink. So much for the colours. This is a nice, thick quality eco-friendly mat... and I LOVE the markings on it which help me with alignment in different asanas. Although what I think would be helpful for newbies like myself is a little bit of guidance as to what the designer intended each marking to be for. I'm just guessing, really. It also comes with a velcro strap to keep it perfectly rolled up and a little purple shoestring carrier loop. Yes, as other people have said, it mings when you first open it, but leave it out flat in your spare room for a few days and the smell fades. I'd say that, once this mat wears out, I'd defo buy another. So don't go away, Heathyoga!

Bought this for myself after getting involved with yoga and previously lugging about a really thick version to the classes. My wife preferred the colour of this one more than the mat that she had, so she now owns it. She really likes it. It's easy to carry to classes and has good grip for all exercises no matter how strenuous. Sure there is that new plastic smell when it is first used but that soon goes and it's not intrusive anyway. The ends of the mat also don't seem to suffer from the problem of curling up or under when opened from being rolled up like the mat that she gave me when she took this one. Seems ideal.

Pretty happy so far. My photos show a very accurate representation of actual mat colour (nothing like that in marketing photo) but I researched that on all Amazon’s international sites and knew what to expect before buying. Thought a photo might be useful to add to the UK site. It’s comfortable, a great size (slightly longer and wider than standard), pretty grippy for standard yoga and the guide markers have been brilliant in helping my alignment. Carry strap is useful. My only concern is that it seems to mark quite easily. Some indentations from yoga poses have gone after leaving the mat for an hour or so but the zipper handle from my running tights has scratched it already after my first practise. I think the sticky mats would have been a bit more forgiving but that’s a small price to pay for the 6mm cushioning. Perfect thickness for comfort, without compromising stability. Other Amazon sites have shown that these appear not to wear that well but time will tell! I’m hopeful it will be ok. Will report back if have any problems! For the price it ticks a lot of the boxes. Grippy, comfy, useful markers, rolls easily, carry straps included, environmentally friendly (biodegradable) and useful care instructions. A good choice for a mid-priced mat. Alignment instructions only show under the teal mat photos, so I’ve copied them and put them here!

I’ve tried many yoga mats but for me this is the best on the market. Slightly padded, exceptional grip , great choice of colours

Fabulous yoga mat, I use it for both yoga and exercise and it’s fantastic.Its non slip and The colour purple is lovely.its very easy to clean .I’m delighted, it’s eco friendly and doesn’t contain any harmful chemicals.I would really recommend this mat if your looking for a good reliable yoga mat.

This may looks the part but unfortunately doesn't perform. I thought based on the good reviews online and the price that I would be getting something very good that would last me for my varying activities. However this was not the case, the colour is great, thickness is great but it is no where near being non slip, in fact I have had cheaper mats that perform better in this area. When doing some activities I have to strategically move up and down the mat to avoid any wet areas because I know I'll slip.Very disappointed as I had high hopes for this mat and it was a special treat to myself by upgrading from cheaper mats I've used.Its a shame because all other aspects are great; the lines, the colour, the thickness and the general aesthetic but for me it is all overshadowed by the very poor non slip which it claimed was high quality/performance on this aspect so that alone is a deal breaker for me when giving it a good review. If I didn't have some scuff marks on it, I would have returned it by now.

I ordered this mat as a beginner yogi. The thickness is fantastic - really supportive in certain poses.I have used it outside a couple of times and it does collect dirt quite easily but it wipes clean without an issue.The colours are lovely and just what I was hoping for.The only reason for 4 stars is I don’t think the mat is suitable for everyone, I find when I get hot and a bit clammy my hands slip a little.For beginner yogis like me I would say it’s a win as it provides a lot of softness while learning. Also if you use it as a fitness mat it will be good for push ups / burpees etc.However as my yoga practice becomes more advanced (Not going to happen over night) I think I would have to change to a mat that my hands won’t slip on.

This is a great yoga mat, the perfect balance of thickness and grip. The guidelines are really useful to ensure you are in proper alignment during different poses. The strap and carry laces are really useful and easy to use.The only downside to this mat is it is slightly more slippy than the mats at the gym so my hands move a little in downward dog, other than that it's perfect for me.

I've been using ordinary, generic yoga mats for years, and didn't too much about them, until I noticed the subtle difference on this yoga mat that's making all the difference for me.First, the thickness. It's important for me to have good support and cushion, especially for my knees, but I really dislike mats that are too thick or rubbery. This mat is a standard 6mm thickness like most yoga mats, but if you're someone who likes a extra thick, cushy mat, this mat may not for you (or you might have to double up). I really like how I can use it on any surface, and it grips really well without being sticky. I throw it on top of my shag rug that has no friction at all, and it becomes the perfect surface for yoga.The lines in the yoga mat are something I'd never thought about or felt I needed, but I find them really helpful, and I love that they are ingrained in the mat so I don't have to look down. I love it when a company anticipates a need that I didn't even know I had (clearly, someone who's really into yoga designed this mat).I've been using this mat pretty regularly for the past couple of months (I typically practice 3 to 5 times a week) and it's been holding up nicely. It still looks pretty much the same as when I first got it. I've never given a yoga mat as a gift before, but wouldn't hesitate to gift this mat -- it just looks and feels like something special and nothing like a generic yoga mat.

Sono una principiante dello yoga, lo ammetto, e per questo motivo ho deciso di attrezzarmi per fare esercizi buoni e al contempo divertirmi.Ho pensato che comprare un tappetino piuttosto serio per fare esercizi mi motivasse di più, oltretutto con il precedente non avevo grip e scivolavo sempre, cosa che mi faceva desistere dal fare attività.Spedizione perfetta, costo abbordabile e prodotto ottimo.Non puzza assolutamente, credo che in questi casi la puzza dipenda anche dalla partita del prodotto, non dalla produzione in se dell'oggetto.Ho letto molte recensioni che ne davano un brutto riscontro ma ho voluto tentare lo stesso.L'odore è leggerissimo e sa di imballaggio, non ho dovuto tenerlo all'aria per giorni...anzi. Srotolato in camera ha preso subito la forma piatta ed è un piacere farci gli esercizi, finalmente.È morbido al punto giusto, chiaramente dipende sempre dalle persone. Ho letto che è basso e si sente il pavimento.Io non sono magrissima (44) e le ossa non mi fanno male se resto seduta sulle natiche, tantomeno sdraiata supina.Si sa che sono pochi millimetri e si devono comprare materassini adatti alle proprie esigenze.Tuttavia molte app di yoga consigliano di mettere piccoli cuscini sotto i glutei per fare alcune pratiche e credo che questo bypassi altri problemi.Contiene anche una fibbia con il velcro per chiuderla e trasportarla e un laccio che credo si utilizzi per tenere chiuse le due estremità quando arrotolato. Almeno credo...Consigliatissimo, anche il colore è veramente bello (viola), rilassa gli occhi e attenua la tensione emotiva.In foto il kit comprato per l'attività, gatto escluso :)

Esterilla estupenda. Lo primero, tiene un tamaño un poco mayor que el habitual. Se agradece cuándo estás haciendo las asanas. Además, la textura del material es muy agradable. Se agarra perfectamente al suelo, impidiendo resbalones incómodos. Un gran producto a un precio asequible.

My last yoga mat was purchased from Manduka about 4 month ago, a thick and heavy yoga mat suitable for home yoga exercise, but when I need to go out for yoga exercise, it’s not a wise choice to take out a heavy yoga mat with me everywhere. So, I wanted to try a light-weighted yoga mat this time. After going through negative and positive customer reviews on Heathyoga TPE mat, I ordered this yoga mat in teal color last month. As a regular yoga exerciser, I go to my yoga class 4 times a week. And each time, I need to walk a long distance from home to yoga studio with my old heavy mat. Sound a little tricky? Yes, an excessive task to carry on a heavy mat with me for class. But now, with this much lighted TPE yoga mat, it’s not a big deal! The mat comes with a carrying strap. What I need to do is to roll it up with the strap, put it on my back, then leave with much ease. Also I found that this mat provided comfortable thickness and softness needed for balancing poses. During yoga class, I don’t need to worry about my hands, knees, or elbows injury. I can do yoga exercise more freely and confidently. One cons, just as other TPE yoga mats on the market, a smell filled in the air when I firstly opened the parcel. But it dissipated and disappeared after I hung and aired the mat out for about 3 days. Really satisfying purchase!

Endlich eine Yogamatte, die sehr rutschfest ist. Meine Hände rutschen nur noch leicht weg im Herabschauenden Hund, wenn ich mich so angestrengt habe, dass ich schwitze. Meine Füße rutschen gar nicht weg. Genau das habe ich gesucht. Der Abrieb, wenn man z. B. vom Reiter in den Hund mit dem Fuß über die Matte streift, ist zwar da, aber gering. Die Oberfläche ist angenehm weich in der Haptik und vermittelt Wärme. Ich sitze und stehe immer wieder gerne auf der Matte. Ich würde sie wieder kaufen.
