It's hearty and looks good
I bought this to help stabilize my records during playback. I like the black color with the contrasting blue bubble level, which is a nice touch because you can make sure your turntable is level even during playback. This record weight is a solid build and does a nice job seating my vinyl more snug on the platter. Sonically I don't notice a difference but it looks cool. The weight fits perfectly on the spindle and has no slop which is a good thing.I like it, for $20 I feel it was worth the investment.

Nice turntable accessory
Nice turntable weight. It is my first one to purchase, and it works well. The bubble level is helpful to make sure turntable is level. It's easy to use, and I think it does help for two reasons - first, it holds the record on the platter more securely (no slip....some anti-static mats can slip), and it also helps smooth out the speed irregularities by acting as a kind of flywheel that helps smooth out the speed. Its an improvement I can notice on some music that has sustained notes...they sound a bit smoother. Also, IF your turntable does not have speed strobe markings (one of mine does not), it has markings on the top so you can check on speed. Note - it does not "clamp" to the turntable....it's a weight only. I think the "clamp" interpretaion is more of using weight to clamp the record to the platter by weight only.As other have said - measure the height clearance between your platter and dust cover...I didn't do that and was lucky, but some may not work. And add some extra to cover the thckness of the record (and even a bit more if its 180g vinyl). I can confirm it does fit on a Technics SL-18 (it's also known as a Technics SL-20 or a Panasonic RD-3500/3600) using standard mat as well as a Technics 1200MKII with an extra cork mat...they are both pretty close, but cleared the dust cover testing with 180g vinyl. I also have a Technics SL-B5 and it clears that with room to spare, but that one has an optional record changer so it has tons of dust cover height (I don't use the changer tho).Nice weight - would buy again.

Simple Improvement for a Moderately Priced Phono
Although I greatly prefer CDs to vinyl LPs, I lately have decided, considering the waning popularity and availability of CDs, that I may need to turn some attention again to records, both old and new. I own a modestly priced turntable of good overall build and sound quality, but its housing is made primarily of cost-saving plastic, rather than of a more vibration-insulating material such as hardwood, granite, or composite. Thus, any small, easy modification I might make to reduce ambient feedback can produce big results. Recently, I added four rubberized cork feet, which reduced the more obvious distortions from nearby components and furnishings. However, believing my turntable capable of even better sound, I purchased this VIBORG LP628B SPINDLE WEIGHT (with built-in bubble leveler and strobe scale) on a whim, and I'm glad I did! I just placed this VIBORG over the spindle, directly onto the LP, to work its simple magic! // At 280 grams of weight, the VIBORG provides just the right support to banish the more subtle forms of unwanted vibration. My results include much tighter, more accurate bass - rather than a sloppy, overwhelming "flood" of it - and subsequent improvement of focus among the all-important midranges and highs. However, the weight is not excessive; it places no strain on my belt-drive system. // Interested? You should be! The VIBORG LP628B may be the simple, inexpensive little change your vinyl collection needs to make your good music sound even better! This particular model also features a green bubble window in the center to aid in turntable leveling, and a strobe scale to test rotation speed. Besides all these benefits, this shiny black spindle weight just LOOKS COOL spinning atop a shiny black LP. It's a "win-win-win-win-win"!

Uuum
These are nicely machined items with a level . But I would only use them for leveling turntable, they are very heavy for constant use,as it is putting extra stress on your turntable motor. But that's your choice. Cool to look at though and kinda spendy.

Seems to run perfectly true.
It slipped down on the spindle neither too tight nor too loose. Weighs down the record well as its weight is substantial. It seems well machined and runs true.If you are looking for a major sonic improvement that's not going to happen in fact the use of this is best when your turntable has some minor deficiencies.I own a Sansui P D10 which is equipped with a very good low mass carbon fiber tonearm, a quartz-lock direct-drive platter but the base is very light weight, and it has cheap rubber feet. The base and feet can allow vibration to be induced to arm, cartridge and stylus. The additional weight helps reduce the effect which can become more pronounced at higher listening volumes where the turntable isn't well isolated. This worst-case turntable setup can lead to audible issues that some additional weight reduces. Placing the weight dead-center on the spindle is the best place unless the motor is questionable.

A needed item for any turntable
I'm replenishing my vinyl collection and some records are warped. This stabilizer helps flatten out the warpage which improves the overall sound of the record. The build in level helps to prevent my turntable from uneven surfaces. Overall pleased with this low cost upgrade.

Nice levelling weight for records
You can get a weight without a bubble level indicating overall level of your platter, but why not get one with it instead? The attention to detail on this thing is really nice; it's pleasing to look at and who can argue with its prime directive? It supplies reassurance of the disc to remain fixed and secure on the platter and can possibly absorb some extraneous vibrations entering the environs of the action when a record is spinning on the phonograph. I like it, and I use it....

Abstenerse de comprarlo
Muy caro para la calidad de producto, debería traer una burbuja para saber si esta nivelado el tornamesa, solo trae un plástico simulando el centrado.
