I got this for my son (and will enjoy using it myself as well 😀) to learn to fly drones. We went with Holyton because he also has a robust RC car from them, and it's worked very well - both for learning and has been robust. It was easy to get set up and pair with the phone for video. It required only a little trimming (calibrating to fly straight) which is common for any drones - at least around this price range (not sure about the really expensive ones). Unfortunately, while trimming we may have overcompensated and the drone hit the corner of house (we had the fenders on, but how it hit the corner likely avoided those fenders) and the rotors wouldn't start even after restarting the drone, trying the second fully charged battery, etc. I emailed Holyton explaining what happened and they sent me a new one very quickly: great customer service! When we trim this one, we'll go down the road a ways to his school and use a more open space, but I'm sure will work just fine after that. Even when the trim was slightly off out of the box, my son was able to control the drone quite easily and really liked the video quality.

I have not had this drone long, but for the price and a chance to learn how to fly a drone, it fit my need. I look forward to working with the app more.

This is a cool little drone. I actually like the small size, you can easily fold it up and take it anywhere. It has two speeds which is helpful if you’re a beginner – if more comfortable, we always fly at the faster speed. One word of caution, with it being small you need to fly with minimal wind, otherwise it can be a little more challenging to fly. For the size and price, it has some really great features. FPV (first person view), 720P HD, and solid maneuverability. This is the only drone we have with voice control and I was surprised how easily it worked, very cool!Overall a great drone for the price. We have a number of Holy Stone drones, all have been great. A couple times we reached out to their customer service, they are AWESOME and very responsive. Happy flying!

The drone is far too hard to control for kids, heck it's hard to control for me. I have been flying hobby drones for about 4 years and this has to be one of the worst ones. You will have to trim this drone every 2-3 minutes. The app is essentially useless the camera is way too laggy for First person flight. The hover mode doesn't work even after trimming. The controller is way too reactive and the in app controller is basically non-reactive (about 2-3 seconds between button press and drone movement) not to mention the app has trouble syncing with the drone far too often. The charger cords are so cheap that I don't expect them to last very long. Overall don't get this drone unless you just want to use it for comparison against a drone that actually works.Edit 6-3-2022: the customer service team reached out to me and sent me a replacement and was very courteous. The replacement doesn't have the trim issue and overall flies much better however the issues with the app and camera remain the same.

I purchased 2 of these for my 2 grandsons for Christmas. Don’t waste your time or money. Neither of these worked. They didn’t even start up. One of my grandsons still had his so it’s getting returned but my other grandson threw his away. He probably thought I got it from the $ Store. Stay clear and don’t throw your $$’s away!!

If you’re interested in learning to fly drones but don’t want to go crazy and drop a bunch of money this is the way to go. It comes with 2 battery’s, 2 chargers and an extra set of blades and the tool to remove it. Hooking it up to your phone with WiFi is so simple. It flys so smooth and is just awesome all the way around. Also I emailed them last night about getting replacement parts and 5:30 am the next day they sent me a link to the Amazon store they have which sells extra blades and these bumper attachments so you can run into a wall and be ok. All in all this product is a 10/10 from value to tech support.

Used it once. Wouldn’t go in a straight line. Like all the motors weren’t aligned. Didn’t try it out until it was 2 days past the return date.*****revised - company sent a replacemet even though it was out out of Amazon return policythanks

Kinda bummed but you get what you pay for and at least you’re not wrecking an expensive drone. Straight out of the box it had scratches over the camera and even after recalibrating over and over it seems to constantly fly to the left. As long as you hold the joystick back to the right it will stay in one place but it’s pretty frustrating. Had to learn the hard way by it flying into a wall when I thought it would hover. I wouldn’t buy it again but if you want a cheap drone to try flying it’s alright.
