The desk came well packed. The top is solid wood. Looks great. The legs are veneer and one of my legs was damaged. Awaiting a reply from vendor. The desk is not grey as in the photo -- it is dark brown with some hints of grey. This was a bit disappointing but it will still work. The desk has real heft to it, so I imagine once I receive the leg replacement and finish assembling this desk will be quite impressive. Also note -- it is very heavy an will require two people to bring in from the "curb" where it is delivered.

LOVE IT!!! Gorgeous and a great price. I wanted a desk that was fairly large as so many are only 4 feet wide. The finish is a beautiful distressed brownish-grey, leaning a bit more toward brown. Legs are not solid wood which is good because they are nice and thick but would be very heavy if solid wood. They are a good quality material however, are substantial, and look like real wood. The top is good quality too and I don't think it's solid wood, but even if it's not, my cats have jumped on it numerous times, claws out to break a slide :) and there are no scratch marks! The top looks like boards put together with a thin groove line between each, but that's no problem - makes it even more beautiful. I am totally happy with this purchase. Bought the Ashley Furniture Mestler Dining Room Chair in Antique Blue to go with it and it looks great. The chair is a greenish-blue.

I saw this in a furniture showroom and then found it on line here for a significant savings. It's a very solid, sturdy desk in a popular decorating color the grey/beige. It arrived in perfect condition and was easy to set up. It looks great and I'm getting lots of compliments on it. I did order a glass top to be made to cover it because our last desk got so scratched up and I like the color of the stain they did on this and wanted to protect it.

The desk is great. Searched all over online and in stores. This is the best bang for your buck when it comes to a quality, functional desk. It has a great color to it. This has been my favorite item I have ever received that I had to put together afterwards. Very elegant look and feel to the desk. The desk has a "distressed" look to it so you don't have to worry about keeping it pristine.Overall, I am very impressed with the appearance, structure and build of the desk.

This desk is even more beautiful in person. I had been hunting high and low for a farmhouse/french country styled desk and when I saw it I thought it fit the bill. Little did I know just how perfect it was. The finish is fabulous and it is a SOLID piece of furniture. You will need two people to move it inside and put it together. The finish on the top of ours is off. It is like they forgot to add the white wash to one side but I can easily fix that. Best deal on this desk that I could find and even better Free shipping with Prime. Thanks Amazon for helping us decorate our new house!

Easy to put together. Looks great. Sturdy. Has a dropdown keyboard tray which was a requirement for me.
