I buy 7lb Purina One cat food which comes in a bag and wanted to store the cat food in something secure. I purchased a (2 pack) plastic container that has a pour spout embedded in the lid but it was too tall and I did not like the spout in the top of the lid as it just allowed more air to get into the container. That container claimed to hold a whole 7lb bag of Purina One cat kibble (their picture ad on amazon showed the Purina 7lb INSIDE the container) but that was a 100% total lie. A lot must be poured out before that bag would fit.Anyway, I purchased these solid lid (2 pack) plastic containers and they are just fine for what I want. The Purina cat 7lb cat kibble fits just fine within these 2 containers fine and no more problem pouring from these found top hole containers than that worthless spout on the other one. Also, these round containers are not quite as tall so they fit better into my pantry shelves. I also believe that without that spout embedded in the lid that less oxygen gets into the kibble - keeping it fresh longer.

We use this container to store homemade ice tea in the fridge. It's sturdy enough to fill to the top. The container fits easily in the door of our fridge. Users should be aware that the 'sealing' disk in the lid should be removed from cleaning. At first we washed only the surface of the inside of the lid, but then the lid developed mold underneath the thin plastic 'sealing' disk. Now we take the lid apart, wash both pieces and allow them to dry. Problem solved.

Functional but not heavy duty. Almost flimsy but adequate for liquids. Overpriced for what you get.

tupperware sucks for stock. this thing holds more, is pourable, resealable. and takes up less sq footage in the fridge. we don't freeze it. and we let the stock cool first. cause u know, plastic. but it is working well for this purpose

I purchased these so that I could keep a bird seed in the front and in the back of my house where our feeders are. At first I was worried about them not being large enough but they are pretty big. You can see in the photo that one whole bag of 10lb bird seed probably would have even fit in just one. I like that they came in a 2 pack for my needs. Not super thick plastic so I'm not certain how long they will hold up being stored outside but have high hopes. So far, happy with my purchase.

If the material these storage containers are made of was thicker and more durable and robust, I would have given this product a much higher rating.I do like the large capacity and that they block out light which can degrade many foods.Because they block out light, it may not be easy to see what's inside. Thus, if you use these containers to store different items, you may want to label the outside of each container.

Some of the poor reviews had me worried, but I'm glad I gave this a shot. I needed containers to store fertilizer enhanced water in for my indoor plants, and had a tough time finding something around a gallon with a wide mouth, which I needed.These are sturdy, lids are well fitting, and even when absolutely filled to the very top, feel very secure. The handle is great and also hold up to full capacity with no problem. I use them on a daily basis and couldn't be happier with the purchase.Raving 5 star review!

To keep dry dog food secure with food grade jugs with twist on lids because I have ingenious cats who mastered the flip top containers I was using. I had a couple old jugs like these saved ages ago from cat food they dont make anymore- i was looking just to buy them again for the jugs even tho I dont use that cat food But happily amazon had what I needed. Decent price. Nice new washable food grade. Problem solved .
