Used this for a girls night craft and this resin kit ended up being the best performing better than kit sold at Hobby Lobby. The resin does not have a smell, it’s a really well rounded kit that includes pigments, gold leaf and molds which is an incredible value and priced fairly. The resin is pretty easy to mix just mix it slowly. It does take 2 full days to completely harden. 24 hours after we completed the craft the molds were hardened and could be removed but were still a little soft towards the middle, 48 hours later the items we created were fully hardened so take that into consideration. This resin pops out of the molds easily, no additional mold release is needed. I do recommend painting the molds with the pigments and then pouring the resin to get more vibrant hues and zero bubbles in your project. Adding the pigment to the resin does create a cloudy consistency so that’s the only negative thing I can find with this product. Loved how easy to use it is, how complete the kit is, and how well packaged everything was. Definitely will buy resin from this specific company again.

This set is perfect for beginners. Used this with a family of four for a fun craft afternoon. It was awesome. Very good quality and great value. Comes well packaged with everything you need to make beautiful resin art. The instructions are clear and thorough. We made three trinket trays in different shapes and a coaster. It comes with enough liquid to use the molds twice, so it makes 8 items in total. It comes with pigment to color the resin. I also ordered dried flowers to add. Would definitely recommend.

The molds are a little warped, but not enough to inhibit making something. This set is a great way to get started and just get a taste of resin crafting. I would not recommend for professional use or if you were looking to craft something to sell due to the molds being a little warped.

Follow the ratio 1:1 and your product will turn out great! These coasters were super easy to do, however; the weed ashtray I attempted was an epic fail! I probably was off with the way I poured and mixed. Make sure to have all the containers you need for mixing and it would probably help to have an automatic stirrer! I will be attempting again with the proper tools for all of my projects! Fyi: you can use popsicle sticks to stir manually but I think it would probably be best to use an automatic one and also make sure your containers that you pour your resin in are clear so that you can see when the product turns clear (indicating it’s ready to pour).
