Get it! It’s worth it!
Check the pictures for references. Even with the minor imperfections, I still give this product a 5 star rating. Everything comes as advertised. Please keep in mind that this knitting machine is made out of plastic, if you experience snags in your yarn, just use a simple nail file to smooth out the jagged edges. Mine had a few jagged imperfections, as you can see from the pictures, I used my nail file, and all was well afterwards. I also gave a few options of the different types of yarn that work with this knitting machine. I like that this allows you to breeze through projects, which makes it more fun, and less intimidating. The row counter works great, doesn’t take long to assemble, and the suction cups work. Be patient with yourself and the machine until you get the hang of things. You can do both flat panels and tubes. This machine is beginner friendly and I’ve enjoyed using it. Money well spent 😊

Works great for us so far
Teen daughter wanted this for her birthday, and we've been playing with it quite a bit in the week since we've received it. Watching YouTube videos helped A LOT, and I highly recommend it. I'm an experienced knitter, but there's still a learning curve specific to this machine on how to cast on, tension the yarn, bind off, etc., that isn't intuitive even for expert knitters. I've not experienced dropped stitches once I figured out how to properly thread and tension the yarn. Made a long tube scarf last night using up a bunch of small balls of leftover yarn from other projects, in various colors and 2 different weights that were simlilar enough to work well together. Worked with DK and Worsted weight merino wool, and both worked great. Not as versatile as knitting needles for sure, but it can do much more than just tube hats and scarves. Made a scarf in about 2 hours, including binding off both ends. Experimented with color change, fair isle, flat panel, and tubular knitting thus far. Daughter wants to try making simple garments, as shown on YouTube. Knock on wood, we haven't had any issues thus far that YouTube doesn't address. Not about to give up my knitting needles any time soon, but I love how quickly I turned a bunch of leftover yarn scraps into a warm, soft, multicolored tube scarf, that we'll donate to the homeless. Merino wool is too beautiful to just toss out, so it's very gratifying to be able to turn all those little balls into a usable accessory that will keep someone warm. We're calling them our scrappy scarves, and we'll make some hats to donate as well. The suction works great on glass, so we've been using it on our glass dining table, and it doesn't move at all. Guess I didn't mention that it's been a ton of fun! We're certainly enjoying it!

Pretty good
This machine is easy to use and easy to learn on. I am new to this and pushed out quite a few projects already. The counter doesn’t work so that’s kind of annoying, I have to stop frequently and count or keep track while I’m doing it.

Doesn't work
Doesn't work makes bad clicking noises and feels like it's in a bind or something is stuck in it but nothing is. I'm trying to get a replacement but after entering what is wrong with it and it won't let me go further.

Learning curve
There is a bit of a learning curve when using this but that is 100% expected with a new device.

Temperamental with yarn
I bought this to make beanies to donate since this seemed like an easy machine to use to make a mass amount. The positive about this - the first being IF you have the correct yarn you can make a beanie in about 20 minutes! The negative is that if you are not using a yarn that it "likes" you will have issue after issue. The first being split and/or dropped stitches. This happens when the yarn gets stuck on the peg and is unable to pass through correctly. For me, once a drop stitch is identified there is no going back, you have to pull the beanie apart and start over from the beginning. When this happens multiple times it is frustrating ! The machine is not super loud, but it is loud enough to have the turn the T.V up or have someone repeat what they said. The last thing is I personally think it is way to expensive for what it is, it is cheap plastic with flimsy legs and the built in stitch counter is the absolute worst and does not work at all. Luckily there are youtube videos on where to buy and how to install a digital counter.Overall I give this product 3 stars because It does what it is supposed to once you find the correct yarn, and for making a bunch of beanies in a short amount of time it beats knitting them by hand. I think the product is decent, but would not recommend.

The second one is great !
The first one that I got was used and returned the handle was broken and it was missing yarn and needles . But the second one was perfect ! I’m so happy I didn’t just outright get a refund and got the second one ! I’ve made so many hats and am working on a queen size blanket right now . My favorite yarn from hobby lobby works like a dream in the machine . It’s called” I love this yarn “
