Jilin Vintage Chinese Terracotta Warrior 32 Chess Set Wood Table Chess Games Gift

With the price point, I really expected it to feel cheap. I was just hoping for the best that this is not gonna be some cheap hollow plastic pieces. But I find both the box and the pieces to be quite solid. There are minor issues with the pin that closes the case with the chessboard on the inside but that was the only problem that I can speak of.It also has a nice little touch as you'd see in the photo where there are illustrations under the box. Attention to detail is pretty neat and appreciated. One comment is that a lot of you may find it to be a little smaller than a standard chess set. I think the perfect set I'd be happy to pay for would be just this but maybe slightly bigger, as big as standard chess set at $50 price point.The current size is really portable though if that's your priority.

The box itself could be attractive but arrived damaged and the board inside was constructed very poorly (paper wrapped board coming unglued 😬).It's a tiny set but that could be good for travel.Other than looking cheaply made, I think the images on the outside and inside of the box are attractive and I really liked the chess pieces. However, it's not at all worth the cost. It truly looks like something you may could find at a Dollar General.... after all, the pieces are only made of resin.

Bought this as a gift for my grandson. Was very pleased with quality.
