I have an Acer Nitro 5 that I bought in 2021 or 22. The battery was dying quickly and it was running hot so I needed to replace the battery to extend the life of my prized machine.I bought the same type of battery from a different seller first, and it came with a screwdriver but no instructions. I looked up info online and found you should check for updates to your BIOS. Mine is like 1.33 and there were no new updates so that wasn't the problem. Anyway I decided it was that particular battery, not my computer, so I ordered this battery from this seller instead- worked perfectly first try!! It also came with screwdriver, a guitar pick looking device, AND instructions which would have been helpful the first go round with the other battery- so thank you for including those!!The only thing I would love to see would be to include replacement screws. I didn't lose them, but one completely broke and the other is threaded. But now I need to buy a multi pack of like 500 screws just to replace these 2. Anyway, that's Acer's fault, not the seller of this replacement battery. I'm happy.Battery life is lasting a little longer now but mainly it's getting less hot and that was really the biggest detriment to the machine. So I ordered this battery for a replacement in my 2001 Acer Nitro 5. The battery was an easy replacement but afterwards I had an issue, it wouldn’t charge. I left the seller a message with the issue. Within 15 minutes, I had a message from the seller suggesting things to try as well as requesting a picture of my old battery to make sure the one they sent me was correct. As suggested, I needed to update my bios. My old laptop was running version 1.01, the new battery requires at least version 1.26 to charge. After the update there are zero issues and battery life is back to new. Very happy with everything. It’s surprising to get such quick, accurate support from a seller now days. Would recommend if you need a new battery for you laptop

Battery life not nearly as good as the stock battery should be. Dissapointed.

Fits perfect in my Acer Nitro 5, charges well, holds a charge. Looks almost like the original the laptop came with. Seems durable. Functions as it should.

At first didn’t hold or charge at all. Works fine once you figure out below.YOU MUST GO TO ACER WEBSITE AND UPDATE BIOS FIRST before installing new battery (an515-54 for me)! Your battery must be at least 25% charged or it won’t work.Pain but after I figured this out, it started charging.
