Great for small kids
This is great for small kids. It has a cool face on it. Its arms are adjustable and define the path where the ball can go.

Super fun mini golf
This set has been a great distraction in the winter and during the pandemic. My nephew loves golf and he loves his little mini golf set. You can change it up and make it a little more challenging, with obstacles and turning off your lights. It feels like it will last a while, unless your kids are really hard on toys.

For the price it is a little disappointing
The main thing that bugged me was that after installing 4 C-batteries in the compartment --which, by the way, doesn't have a pressure plate to open... you need a small screwdriver, which is lazy designing for such and expensive product-- the only thing the batteries did was light up a pole. There was very little value add that this provided, for even when I put it in a dark bathroom and had it illuminate white objects it really functioned as a very weak blacklight, which wasn't very helpful or fun. What I REALLY would have liked was a simple sensor that had some sort of noise or voice feedback every time you either got very close to the hole and missed, OR got in the hole. Baby toys have this and I thought it would have made the mini-golf much more interesting. Also, putting the set together was a little frustrating. To cut costs the manufacturer requires you to put all the stickers on the product. There is no way can kids do this. It will definitely take an adult because the stickers are so oddly shaped that one wrong move requires you to delicately unpeel and repeel again and again, because these are permanent.Additionally, the "antennae" are not too exciting and occasionally pop out, and the main electric light pole is a little flimsy and occasionally will fall out as well.More frustrating, though, was how difficult it was to assemble the putter. It took me many tries and minute inspection until I realized that you really need to screw in the putter handle instead of just compress it. (The instructions did not mention this, and it was not obvious even when I looked at the pieces multiple times.)So, overall, I wasn't really happy with this product. It came without four C batteries, didn't have much electronic enjoyment added when the batteries were finally installed, was slightly frustrating to assemble the putter, insert the batteries, and put on the stickers, and aside from the pullout hand tracks (which were a good idea), wasn't too exciting to play. However, because there are so few good indoor golf products available, I give it 3 stars.

Not All it's Cracked Up to Be
I ordered this Franklin Mini Golf set for my two youngest grandkids (ages 4 and 7). They love to play mini-golf and I thought they might enjoy having this set at home. They do, however, this set is not exactly as advertised. First of all, it's pretty flimsy and I've ordered Franklin products in the past, so I thought I could trust the name to provide a quality product. Second, it's hard to put together, although the 7 year old had fun placing the stickers, as long as you don't care that they are exactly placed. Thirdly, this was supposed to be a black light set that "glowed." Umm - not quite. Batteries are needed to light up the pole for the flagstick, but it was hardly worth the batteries just for that. All, in all, the kids like it and they are still playing with it, that is, until it breaks!

Maybe IF it was $12
It is as cheaply made as a thing can be made. It is not going to last. The plastic is super thing and the golf club will take repair within hours. SOME fun can be had by the tiny kids, but how long will that last? I'm thinking not very long. Again, if it was $12 maybe since you would not be upset when you couldn't use it in a week.

Very cute home golf set
To tell the truth I really enjoy this mini golf set. My very young kids play with a simply plastic putter and golf ball already, so I already knew this would be a hit with them. It's very cute and if you've ever played mini-golf you'll know how it works. There's a minor obstacle, the incline, and if you miss it will loop around the hold and be returned towards you. The hole is an alien with long creepy arms that serve as boundaries. There's a needless flag that lights up and two antenna. Once it's assembled I think it looks good. Because it's just a rectangle between the arms, you can easily add a couple of your own obstacles to make the shot more fun. A tube of some kind. A ramp from hot wheels cars. A few toys that are hard and bouncable. It's adaptable and we enjoy it all the time, seriously. There is really no electronic aspect here. It doesn't make annoying sounds, it doesn't have anything detecting a score. It's like playing minigolf at the mall. You keep score yourself (if you care).Assembly was difficult and annoying. The stickers are difficult to apply, at least for me. They are oddly shaped. I really wish these manufacturers would do this part themselves and add another 50 cents to the price. Sometime a broken down toy is smaller to ship, but this kind of thing is really just having the customer complete assembly. Otherwise I had no serious trouble putting the toy together and it feels solid. Just time consuming. Even the putters have to be assembled, and that other mini golf I mentioned doesn't have that problem and costs about a third as much money.I have mixed feelings because we enjoy this toy and even used it at my daughter's birthday party, so I know a lot of children and parents enjoy it. But for the money, it doesn't really make sense to me. I would pay half the MSRP for it and be OK with the value.

Very Cute
This is a cute little product for all those little future golf or mini golf fanatics. This does not take up a whole lot of space, but still provides a lot of fun and entertainment. Many young ones can play together using this!
