The Solsop RJ45 Crimp Tool Pass Through Crimper saves a lot of time both in setting the wires and the number of failed connections. Because the wires are trimmed after the crimping operation it is always possible to check that all wires are in the correct position. This leads to less wastage. Also, the outer part of the cable fits further into the connector as it is easy to pull the wires up tight before crimping, this leads to a stronger joint.Finally, the tool is robust smaller than old-type crimpers and has a reasonable cost.Whats not to like!

I first got a defective tool that got replaced. I used it a few times along the last few months. Not a single cable worked. The seller refunded me very quickly and I got a replacement one that worked perfectly.Highly recommended.

bought this to replace an older crimper I had. was fairly easy to use and great for pull through connections. very helpful with having both a type and b type profiles on the side as I'm never gonna remember until the next time I do a crimp again

The cutter blade is unaccurate

I had never done cat6 wiring before, and I am terrible hand to eye coordination. So came at this as a complete novice. But the tools worked well, it came with loads of adapters. The wiring diagram was really useful, I had to do 7 ends, 1 I accidently wired upside down, and another for some reason hadn't picked up the 7th wire, the tester told me exactly the problem, and I sorted both quickly. Takes about 2-3 mins to prepare and unwind the wires, 2-3 mins to feed in the wires, and then seconds to crimp, I would suggest giving a minimum of 5cm of wire, and making sure each one is as straight as possible first, when threading the wire make note of the orientation of the adapter, and ensure the wires are neighbouring it's easy to accidently miss a place (B is the wiring pattern that is standard).

The crimper is non-ratcheting, which I prefer because it gives you more control of the cam-over at the end of the crimp. The protruding wires are cut perfectly flush as can be seen in my pictures. The crimper also has a convenient handle locking bar to keep the tool compact in your tool pouch. There also is a handy wiring chart for straight and reverse cables on the side of the tool.Only time will tell if this product has similar longevity and durability as other competitive products on the market. Bought this for pass through rj45 connectors. Certainly not the best crimpers available, but, for the amount that I'll be using them, I'm satisfied with them. Seems to be good value for the money.

Among the essential tools in network

Pass through connectors are the way to go. They are so much easier and faster to use than their non-pass through counterpart. This crimping tool works well. The only criticism I have is if you are not careful sometimes the pass through wires can get jammed in the tool and if you don't notice it the tool will not cut the wires that got jammed.
