Worked in less than 24 after hours placing in tank!
Thank you for making this! I have a Convict Tang that became super aggressive and I’ve been trying to catch him for months out of a 240 gallon that is well stocked so moving rocks is not an option. After a few hours several fish were already hanging out in the trap including my clown trigger that seemed to enjoy it in there. The Convict tang was the last one to go since I think he knew the trap was for him. Now I can move my new fish into the tank without the fear of the Convict killing them. Also, I used a magnetic veggie clip inside the trap along with the magnet attachment. I didn’t mess with the suction cups. I tied a fishing line to the magnet on the outside of the tank and once I saw the fish swim in and eat the nori I pulled the line and he was trapped!

Bigger Tank maybe....
Never caught any fish. I had to resort to netting them (fish)

Save your money
Suction doesn't work, and the airlines are all kinked. Magnet isn't strong enough for thicker glass.

Great way to catch reef fish out of the tank!
I had to remove all my fish to go fallow for ich eradication in a reef tank. It works great! You might have to leave it in the tank for a few days with food for the trickier fish (purple tangs and anthias were being too smart). Just stir up the inside once in a while to get them interested.I had the hardest time getting the bubble to stay in place and it would always pop off. However, I found that once you empty out all of the air in the airline, just squeeze the release tube lightly and THEN attach the bubble to the suction mouth piece. The suction effect will keep the bubble trap in place for days. It will still release fine once you squeeze the tube.

It worked!! Sort of
My tank got a parasite recently and I needed to try and catch all of the fish to medicate them separate from my display reef tank. I caught about 5 fish with a net but wasn't able to get close to any of the tangs or wrasses. Within the 1st hour of opening the Tank Matez bubble fish trap I was able to catch 2 wrasses. My tangs are too smart and won't go inside the bubble to feed. It's been a few days of trying to get the tangs comfortable but they just won't get inside. The item if you follow instructions works exactly as advertised. Definitely adding this bit of kit to my inventory, could be useful again in the future.

Catches fish easily
I’m going to give this a 4-5 only because the hose would back up with water after use and I had to drain it every time I wanted to re use it. Not a big deal though. But other then that amazing product and it did exactly what it was intended to do, catch fish.

Nice idea but does not really work (at least for tetras)
I have been trying to catch a neon tetra and I really thought this would work after seeing promising videos online. But as soon as I squeeze the bulb to release the trap, the slight movement sends the fish darting out of the trap before it can turn upward. I would not recommend this for tetras. They are too fast for it.

Kids Toy
Useless for trapping fish. Also the hydraulic apparatus continually fails. It is obviously a kids toy to play in the aquarium or a novelty item. After several days, I ended up having to drain my aquarium to catch the fish in a planted tank..
