My sons play hockey and a couple of times a year it seems like they rust this part until it breaks. I used to rob old helmets for this part, but I am so glad to have found this. It works great and is an amazing price. It sure beats buying a helmet repair kit for it. Would buy again!

I purchased the 6-pack for my coaching bag. Four of these broke the day they were used.

Worked as a replacement to the Bauer helmet snap for the chin strap.

Straps rotted on my helmet. Perfect fit and easy install.

The snaps are not formed identically and don't all have the same snap strength. Only one of the six actually securely snaps in, four are soft snaps that can come apart too easily, and the last one is malformed and doesn't snap in at all. One of the straps is also missing the smooth cover for the inside of the snap to keep the rough fastener edge from rubbing against your chin/neck. 5 stars for the one that works, but I can't give the product that rating with only 1/6 of the pieces being satisfactory.
