Pleasant Enough But Not The Flavour Impact I Was Expecting
Okay, so first off, this drink isn't bad tasting. It's just pleasant, which isn't what I was hoping for. With a name like 'Twisted Limeade' I was expecting something with more of an intense kick, but it just wasn't there.I'm an energy-drink aficionado; always on the look-out for some high-caffeine, sugar-free versions with interesting flavours. 'Monster' were the first to really start opening up the market for sugar-free energy drinks with interesting and unique flavours (and for that they will always hold a special place in both my heart and grateful pancreas) but the market has exploded over the past few years, so if you want a slice of it, you really gotta be bringing something a little different to the table. Now I might be biased because my latest brand obsession is 'Bang'. They offer all kinds of wild flavours and the US imports have 300mg of caffeine in each can. They also really understand the importance of design and marketing, which is why they caught my attention. And despite the much higher prices to get them shipped out to me, I'm more than happy to fork out a little more for them. They taste great, offer really weirdly unique flavours and their cans look great.I actually only purchased a crate of these 'C4 Twisted Limeade' because I'm waiting on delivery of 2 crates of 'Bang' that will take a little longer to get here. The flavours I'm waiting on are kinda sweet tasting, so I figured I'd go look for something that sounded like a sharper, tangier flavour to balance things out. 'Twisted Limeade' sounded like just the thing. Like something that would pack a punch flavour-wise. I was hoping for that proper lime taste - darker and sharper than lemon - and with a sour sherbet-esque punch to the taste-buds. But it just doesn't. It tastes like the kind of 'corner-shop-pop' (you know the kind) that you get in a 2 litre bottle for about 89p and is bright green, with a vague/generic sort of lime flavour. Like you over-diluted lime cordial by accident. And if I'm being completely critically honest, it also has an artificial-sweetener aftertaste that isn't the nicest. Now as far as the being a fitness-oriented drink, I really can't comment. Does the addition of 'Betaine' make this drink special? Does it work in this drink? No idea. I know there will probably be some gym-folks out there raging at me, saying "It's not for you! It's a fitness product and it really works for us!!" And to those people I say, hey, if it works for you and you love it, I couldn't be happier for you. Be sure to write an awesome 5* review for this stuff right here to tell your fellow fitness peeps why this stuff is the absolute mutt's nuts. But most people looking to buy energy drinks aren't trying to find their Holy Grail of CrossFit Fuel. I'm just a normal person giving my opinions.I feel like I've been a bit unfair in this review; I'm supping a can as I write it but I just can't really find anything exciting, unique or interesting about it, to warrant giving it a higher star rating. I get that the 'C4' brand is trying to equate explosive qualities with their own products, which for the most part are things like pre-work-out and other fitness/body-building supplements, so it makes sense to market that range to their demographic that way; but as an energy drink that just comes up in an Amazon search list with every other brand out there, it ends up feeling like it's promising something it just doesn't deliver. 'C4'? Yet you only contain 160mg caffeine? Umm..okay.I will say that the company/seller I bought these from 'Nutrabolt Europe' did an amazing job of getting them out to me so quickly. Really impressed with their service and would definitely purchase from them again. As for the 'C4' range, well I have no idea what 'Frozen Bombsicle' or 'Cosmic Rainbow' taste like, but the names are interesting enough to maybe give them a go. 'Frozen Bombsicle' seems really popular, so maybe... As for 'Twisted Limeade', if what you're looking for is an energy drink with a really inoffensive, pleasant flavour, maybe give it a go. Just don't be expecting it to wow your taste-buds anytime soon.

I tried all the flavours so you don't have to
Cosmic Rainbow - this tastes like a mixed slush puppy, and is my favourite of the ones currently available.Frozen bombsicle - I'd say this is closest to a blue raspberry flavour. Solidly good, but not my favourite.Orange slice - this is a orange/vanilla flavour, like a orange creamsicle. Surprisingly good and one I will definitely reorder.Twisted limeade - a little disappointing, reminds me of the cheap supermarket brand fizzy drinks you see in lime flavour.I'd be really excited to see more flavours available, especially strawberry lemonade and the special editions like Starburst.

Bland taste
Thought I would give this a try for my caffeine fix but the taste is bland and the product overpriced. Once I have finished these cans I will go back to Monster

Terrible, don't bother
No buzz of energy at all. Its just like drinking any fizzy drink that has no caffeine in it.
